  If the Ice Cream Shoppe and the Snack Shack had a baby through artificial insemination by a Gifford's donor, that's kind of what Yorks is. It's not quite as good as its parents unfortunately. It is way overpriced for what you get. Just a burger and Mac and cheese bites cost me nearly $30 🤯 And even though I dined in, I got my order in to-go containers. It was definitely a let down for me.

  🚘 During my travels today I stopped at York’s Eats and Treats, 217 Main Street in Canaan. Definitely has that fresh brand new building smell inside. Serving Gifford's Ice Cream in just how you love it!🍦 Had a delicious Sea Salt Caramel Truffle Frappe 😋 This business is not complete. Open for limited hours.   We don't get pizza like this in florida. It's so good. So is everything else. The girls running the counter were having fun and very cheery.

  Born and raised in Philadelphia for 23 years, moving to Maine this was the best Cheesesteak I’ve had in Maine. The closest to a true Philly cheesesteak.

  They’re still getting established so keep that in mind! Very good ice cream, I ordered some served on a waffle cone. My husband got a milkshake and it was very… milky… dunno if that was eater’s error or if maybe the ratio wasn’t right when they were making it? Coulda just been a fluke, though, because again the ice cream itself was great. The people are also nice! They could already be planning it, but it could use some outdoor seating for sure as the inside feels a little sterile. Can’t wait to make a tradition of bringing the kids’ after school on Fridays! So glad to have an ice cream shoppe in Canaan.
