  Way overpriced in comparison to the amount of food you get. Other breakfast stops in Bar Harbor are pulling ahead with more food and cheaper. Only 1 egg on my $11 skimpy breakfast sandwich. $16 for 1 chocolate chip pancake. $14 for a slim burrito. Maine is known for its hearty breakfast and this place was just not it. If you’re looking for a filling breakfast before a long day of hiking in Acadia, go somewhere else.
  
  Also, you order at the counter then they walk your food out to you. No real service. We had to go up to the counter and ask for water, guy at the counter took 4 cups, ran them under the facet, filled them then handed them to us over the counter. No ice, no straws. Just tap water. Not to mention their “tea” is hot water and a tea bag. Not loose leaf or steeped for you. Guy just handed me hot water with a tea bag for $4.

  Early Bites features street side outdoor seating, the area you place your orders is very small.
  
  My wife had the breakfast burrito and a mocha coffee and I had a London Fog (these had a shakshuka. The food and drinks were excellent, if I had a suggestion I would have preferred the eggs over easy, but this is a minor point.
  
  Service is good for the style, you get a number on your table and the food and coffee is brought to you. The coffee arrived a few minutes after the food. They were getting busy.

  Genuinely surprised by this cute little place, its very cute and well maintained. The waffles and coffee were really good. The bathroom was a little scary but it doesn’t change my opinion. I like this place!

  Wow the food here is amazing! We got the Pink Bliss smoothie, a caramel cappuccino, a bacon egg and cheese, and the chicken and waffles. Everything was delicious and our plates were clean by the end. The chicken and waffles was the best I’ve ever had. Definitely a great spot to try!

  10/10 experience. Fast service, attention to detail, caring staff. The coffee is the best I’ve had in the island. The banana and walnut French toast was exceptional, along with the chicken and waffles, chicken is super well seasoned. We’ll be back sooner than later.
