Adorable vintage decor and delicious sandwiches, bagels and pastries. We especially love the scones. It's a perfect breakfast and picnic provisions cafe in Bar Harbor.

Tasty baked goods in Bar Harbor! We loved the blueberry crumble pie. We also tried two bagels, which were not the best I’ve ever had, but were flavorful and loaded with plenty of cream cheese! They have coffee as well, but they only use Torani syrups which don’t always taste great. The ladies in there were super sweet, although the atmosphere wasn’t great, as I felt like it needed some quiet music in the background or something. Either way, I enjoyed the treats.

On a cold February morning, while all other shops were closed in town, here was a Slice of Eden. True to its name. A small gem, hidden in its own peaceful delight. Turning strangers hungry faces into great big smiles. The egg sandwiches were excellent! I would recommend having breakfast here if you need something quick to go. Thank you and keep on keeping on!

Best bagels in Bar Harbor! Loved the cute eclectic interior and the bagel options were great! Definitely recommend stopping by!

Could’ve been higher rating but back to back days almost zero interaction from owner as a tourist, but chatty with locals.. not sure what that is about. We went there as it was across the street from where we stayed. Got a coconut cream pieice and a pecan sticky bun the first day. Yelp reviews had said good food but no personality or “friendly” vibes from help/owner. Sadly we picked up on that.n(And would’ve felt that on our own without the heads up as it was palpable). Pecan sticky buns was ok, but the coconut cream pie was amazingly good.
Heading out the next I grabbed the blueberry lemon danish and a blueberry muffin. Went by myself this time and worked more chatty attempt at engagement. Said hello to the owner who was again setting at a table as previously.. Was responded with a hello -but went back to texting. Three or four other peeps in the location waiting for their orders.. Never picks her head up or engages with anyone until a local came thru the door and said hello to him..
I own a busy business back home.. and customer engagement is the key to success. Yes the items you sell are nice but not engaging with anyone other than locals is off putting. We ate in house yesterday and the whole time the only people spoken to were staff while sitting at a table, and another local person.. sad. Would’ve loved to give a higher rating as I feel not enough companies get positive rating for overall success and vibe.
Staff also not upbeat or cheerful, but the girl that gave me my items this morning was good.
