★ 5If you’re looking for somewhere to go to dinner with your dog or in general this is the place to go! Food was great, staff is friendly, and super dog friendly ! Had a dog menu with chicken&rice or a burger patty&rice along with other options ! Our dog definitely approved as well. Lobster Mac & Cheese was phenomenal and Haddock was just as good!

★ 5One of our favorite meals while visiting Bar Harbor was at Testa’s. They were open late, which was perfect for us after a full day of hiking and swimming in Acadia National Park.
Our coastal feast included fresh local oysters, the incredibly delicious lobster mac and cheese, fish tacos, and (according to my daughters) the true star of the show: the Rasta Pasta. It’s been a year and a half since our visit, and they still talk about that dish.
We hope to make it back again someday! -

★ 5This was a restaurant that jumped out at us. We were taken to the second floor and got the corner table with good window views of the harbor.
We ordered the lobster grilled cheese, clam chowder, and tomato soup and grilled cheese. The food came out hot and the presentation was very good. We also observed a number of other table with lobster dinners. The food was very good. As you would expect the lobster was marked price. The service was very good.
We walked to the restaurant, but parking was limited. I would recommend this spot in town. -

★ 2We sat near the bar in a booth instead of walking upstairs because we had a long day. The hostess reassured us it was not a problem. However, our waiter who I believe was also the bartender “Andre” never introduced himself, seemed rushed, and really wasn’t our waiter. Several other people waited on us fragmentally. We specifically stated we were sharing an entree after buying two alcohol beverages and a small plate, yet we had to flag down another worker to get a second plate. Then we had to flag down a third person to get us salt & pepper. And yet a fourth person offered us desert & took our check to Andre. While Andre was entertaining people fantastically at the bar we were completely ignored by him, our waiter! As far as the food: our coconut shrimp were good and especially the Thai Blueberry sauce. The $36 seafood Alfredo had a tasty sauce and the bread was delicious, however the amount of lobster & scallops was disappointing. It should be called shrimp Alfredo because it was filled with numerous tiny shrimp, one piece of lobster, and maybe two scallops. We would not recommend Testa’s to anyone & we won’t be back next time we are in town! Do yourself a favor a try Parilla or Leary’s! Both had amazing food & service.
