Definitely stuck in time. Restaurant needs an update but I love, love, love a hole on the wall but the food needs to be worth it. The cashier Ms Nelson was nice. No tap, but they accept cash, card & CashApp. Breakfast is my favorite meal so I may be harsher on my breakfast reviews.

I ordered Salmon & Eggs it comes with toast and grits or rice. I ordered grits ½ of it was undercooked with lumps. Eggs were decent. I ordered orange juice and ice water. The toast would taste better buttered. The salmon is dipped in a breading then cooked resulting in the outside cooking faster than the inside so you end up with an overly crispy outside and a mushy undercooked inside that was more bread than salmon and unseasoned.

I also ordered a side of bacon. It was decent. And I ordered a side of smoked sausage and it had a hotdog consistency. I didn't like it.

Just had a wonderful meal at this establishment. Spent the first part of my day learning about the history of the area and felt the warmth and love as soon as I stepped into this black establishment. The owner was very welcoming and the staff were inviting, answering questions that I had. The food was exceptional, I had the fish sandwich with fries and it was so good. Definitely recommend hitting this spot if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

Stopped by for breakfast when in town. The food was good. Pancakes with bacon and eggs. The staff had a great attitude and reminded me what southern hospitality is all about. There is a Jukebox for tunes. The rest of the place is unassuming.
