Super good pasta and pizza, I had the pasta that has white sauce (idk the name) and my husband had the spicy pizza, we loved both, great presentation, great price. Cheaper than olive garden, and way better.

One of the must tries when in Florence. This almost 50 year old restaurant has such beautiful deco and provides a lovely ambience to wild an afternoon lunch away. The restaurant looks small from the outside but as you enter, it winds and twists into deeper cosy spaces… that seats almost 100. We had pasta, rabbit, tartare paired with delicious cocktails. A beautiful afternoon. Would love to visit again.

Downtown Birmingham great negroni cocktail and pasta. Very large pizzas. A nice couples dinner.

If you're looking for a dining experience that feels like a warm embrace, look no further than ZaZa. My time there has consistently been exceptional, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. The brunches are nothing short of fabulous, especially the cherry rosemary scones. They strike the perfect balance with their soft interiors and textured crust, making each bite a delight—not overly sweet, but just right.

What truly sets ZaZa apart is its family-owned charm. When you step through the doors, you’re not just a customer; you’re treated like a member of the family. This personal touch transforms your meal into an experience where you feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated.

I've tried various dishes, and there’s not a single item I haven’t loved. So why wait? Head to ZaZa for your next meal, and discover why it’s a local gem that exceeds all expectations!

Cliff notes: this wasn’t what I was expecting re a relaxing Italian place but that had pros and cons. They only do counter ordering so it makes it feel a bit impersonal but on the plus side you aren’t paying a service yo charge in the form of a tip.

Ordering: the menu isn’t that big. The person who took my order was not unfriendly but she was also not warm and hospitablennFood was delivered relatively quickly. My boyfriend got the baked Mac and cheese. I thought it had some unique flavors and was very tasty. I got some sort of white pasta that was fine but did not stand out. I probably would have added some pepper or red hot pepper but there is absolutely nothing on the table to add flavor. Also the pastas didn’t seem to have any meat so I thought they were a bit overpricednnJust know if you want to feel like you are at a warm trattoria this isn’t the place, but you may still have an enjoyable meal if you know what to expect
