  Food was delicious. We sat outside with our dogs. Food arrived quickly. Our drinks were kept full and we all throughly enjoyed our meals. Even the dogs. (I usually order them each a grilled chicken breast when we go out to eat with them) prices were very reasonable.

  Went in for lunch ordered country fried steak and was very pleased. Cooked crisp and not greasy yet tender in the center I would highly recommend this and an appropriate serving too. I do apologize I couldn’t wait to try a bite before I took the picture but when your order hits the table in less time than expected it’s hard to resist.

  My granddaughter and I stopped for lunch on this dreary afternoon. I had the open faced meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. The meatloaf was tasty but the slice was thin-not what I expected from a quaint, little restaurant. My granddaughter had a cheeseburger and fries-ordered medium well, with pickles and mustard of course 🙄 The waitress dropped off our food and said she would be back with the mustard. She got distracted and I ended up having to go up and ask for it (she had to search for what appeared to be the only bottle). That wasn’t the worst part of our meal. The fries were old, cold and either reheated or cooked in old oil (I’ve run a kitchen-I know what I’m talking about), the burger was dripping in its own grease-I had to dry off the bottom of the bun and wipe the plate. The burger was not medium well at all-it was medium at best. My granddaughter is not a hurtful person so she kept saying it was fine and was trying to be polite and told the waitress it was delicious (she’s 9 with a heart of gold). She ate most of the 2 quarters I cut for her and barely any fries-said she was going to save them for her mother. She loves cheeseburgers and eats an entire DOUBLE cheeseburger most times, so this was not because she was being fussy. Our server was polite but the other woman she was speaking to seemed like she had no desire to deal with her-after witnessing an interaction with someone calling and asking for a manager. I’ve worked in this industry for years and I don’t like leaving negative feedback but sometimes it’s hard not to.

  We had a large party, they easily accommodated us. The food was great, and staff was friendly.
  I had the Reuben- it was so delicious! I would definitely order it again. I shared an onion ring & nibbled on someone else's clam strips. I would order the clam strips next time! Clean & friendly & just good cooking!
  Dessert was also really yummy!

  Breakfast was delicious! I want to highlight the flavorful crispy hash browns because I feel like many places I've been lately they are just bland and mushy, or frozen and deep fried basically French fries. Comfy atmosphere. Great views and lovely service.
