  A friend took me to Alice's probably 10 or 12 years ago. Since then I've taken my family countless times and recommended Alice's to anyone who will listen. Yes, on the weekend the wait can be long, but where is it not? Anything worthwhile is worth the wait! The service has always been excellent, but the food, well that's what keeps us coming back. Scrambled eggs, bacon, homefries and toast is my go to. The homemade bread is simply the best. If I happen to have a sweet tooth, the cinnamon roll french toast always hits the spot. If you can't decide, just do what I do and get both. Whatever you get, expect very generous portions. I was sad to hear that the owner had put Alice's up for sale, but understand given the demanding nature of the business. I'm happy to hear the new owner will be hand picked and have no doubt Alice's will remain a family favorite. Thank you for all the great breakfasts, and best of luck with your retirement.

  When I fly across the country back home, this is my first stop for the last decade! From homemade bread and muffins, to great service and new menu specials weekly, you can go wrong. Alice’s is full of local charm and I wish I could buy a mug as a souvenir to take with me to the west coast!

  My wife and I go to Alice’s at least once a week. Neither of us have ever had a bad experience with anyone or anything there. It is a rather busy restaurant that has a family feel. They have a great menu selection as well. There is regularly a line waiting for a booth because of how great this place is. Coffee is good, food is great and the customer service has always been excellent. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Whether you’re a local who hasn’t tried it yet or just passing through town, it should definitely be a stop on your journey!

  Alice’s is by far the best! The food is delicious, plentiful and affordable. The staff is amazing! Always happy to see you. Friendly, efficient, and respectful. We don’t care how long the wait is as that’s proof of how good it is! It’s worth your patience!
