I had an excellent, lowcountry lunch at Virginia’s on King on a Sunday. We weren’t that hungry, so we just got a bowl of she crab soup, the fried green tomatoes, and the slider sampler to share. The soup came out room temperature at first, but once it came back heated, it was delicious. I was even more of a fan of the crispy fried green tomatoes that didn’t get lost in the breading. The crab cake stood out among the 3 sliders, the fried chicken one being kind of meh. I would come back and try more items as well!

We had breakfast here our second morning visiting Charleston and it was so darn good that we went back. A great decision. It does not disappoint. The menu is actually a brunch menu so there are lunch options for those who may want that. Highly recommend Virginia's on King. I had the country eggs bennedict today and it rocked!

Sure glad we made reservations because this place was packed! Wonderful staff who were able to answer all the questions. The food was okay. The burrito was a bit bland. It could have used a bit of spice or salsa/ jalapeño cheese was just not enough. The bacon was delicious.

Nice little all day spot off King St. Stopped in for breakfast. Virginia's was recommended by our hotel. Spot on with their suggestion. Breakfast was excellent. I had the st■ French toast. I am not a big pecan fan but was willing to try something new. Great choice. The blend of fresh fruit, pecan cream cheese and blueberry syrup was perfect. My wife enjoyed her chicken and waffles. Add a morning cocktail and the day was starting out good. Check them out and decide for yourself.

I've been to Virginia's twice this year and was extremely impressed by the service. There are few restaurants left in Charleston that still feel like home and they've nailed it. Sarah was our server both times and she is nothing short of a delight- she is attentive, friendly, and makes you feel like you've known her for years, just like true southern hospitality should be. The manager makes sure to introduce herself to every table, every time. The food is great- we came back specifically for the baby back ribs and fried chicken which are 10/10. Portions are well sized and prices are scaled appropriately.
