  We had a wonderful breakfast at Underground cafe and bakery!
  Nancy was alone at the restaurant but we felt welcome and very well cared for with her kindness and personal attention. Breakfast was huge portions and very fresh and delicious. Add to that the sweet baked goods and sweets/maple syrup for sale in the warm environment makes Underground cafe a not to miss, very homey, intimate dining experience!

  Wow, this place is incredible! We first went for breakfast and had the best breakfast sandwiches we’ve ever had. The buttery, moist, homemade biscuits topped with egg, cheese, and bacon were phenomenal. They were so big that we had leftovers and were very reasonably priced. We went back for a delicious lunch and also enjoyed their homemade desserts. The flaming mint hot chocolate was such a unique experience- and also ridiculously tasty. The waitstaff and head baker were so kind and friendly. Highly recommend!!

  I decided to try a different breakfast spot in North Conway and Googled Best Breakfast, which is how we found Underground Bakery & Cafe. I love how it's inconspicuous and you need to look closely to find it. Once you do, the storefront was a delight, but loved the signage to get you further downstairs to the Cafe. The exposed granite slabs added to my intrigue. I ordered their buttermilk pancakes, which got fantastic reviews. And my bff got their eggs bene. Both meals were absolutely amazing and I'd return in a heartbeat. Also their cappuccino was incredible and smooth. Service was flawless and our waitress had the nicest personality. This is definitely a hidden gem and a must try! Now, if you can leave without their homemade funny bones or ring-dings, good luck. Their personal size mini cakes are outstanding. My family owned a bakery 54 years just outside Boston. I'm extremely fussy on baked goods. Their bakery items are top quality with a Keen attention to detail. Their chocolate chip cookie is one of the best I've had grace my lips in years! Do not make a mistake and pass by without stopping in, even if it's just for their cake pops, or a cookie.

  Such a sweet spot. It’s not your typical breakfast spot, but that’s what I love about it. Homemade delicious food, great cup of coffee and amazing service. Highly recommend! Huge portions.
  
  I got a breakfast sandwich on a biscuit, and my daughter got a pancake that came with home fries, orange slices and bacon. We shared a warmed scone with whip cream and homemade lemon curd. Everything is homemade and absolutely to die for.

  The everything bagel sandwich might have been the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. So much flavor! Good price, very kind service. Also got a tasty latte. Everything in the bakery display looked amazing.
