★ 4This review is for the Saturday tea service. I did share a few pots of tea amongst friends. Most of our teas were very fruity. I had the strawberry sencha and there was a roibus apricot and a spiced black tea. My other friend got a coffee. The finger sandwiches were nice. The flavoring of the cakes were maybe a bit strong for some members of the party. Mint for instance on one split the party on opinions for whether it was too strong. The scones were also a bit dry for me. I probably enjoy the brunch food better than the tea tray. The ambience and service is very good.

★ 4Lamb shank was the winner. The steak tartare was lean but not very flavorful, I expected the rouille of bouillabaisse to be more orange/coper colored, here it is was more of a seafood broth. The duck cassoulet was very good (the duck was pre-fried) and so were the desserts, candied apple with ice cream and a pavlova.

★ 5This is a nice fancy restaurant and a place for quite conversations. They offer a good selection of wines by the glass as well as bottle and the food is delicious.
Everything made fresh and the food tastes good.
We ordered the halibut and the range free chicken ..started with the Maine crab dip.
Slightly pricey but worth the visit .. -

★ 5I take delight in reviewing this establishment, housed within the beautiful Inn at Hastings Park, in Lexington, MA. Service was attentive and thorough coming from a friendly staff from host to the waiters. The ambiance is modern, rustic yet beautifully, adorned with old-world charm.
The food, every night, was a delicious delicacy of taste paired to take the pallet on an adventure of flavors. The temperature was perfect with every bite, and the plating and presentation were beautiful. We loved every meal, from salad to dessert.
Thanks to Tricia, the owner, and the team for creating such a beautiful dining experience.
We are sure to return.

★ 2If you like waiting a very long time for very mediocre food that's over priced, you are in for a treat!
I am genuinely confused by the good reviews on here.
First, you walk in to... empty rooms... and a desk with a phone number to call. We ended up finding the restuarant in the back.
Second, the service was terrible. Servers themselves are very nice, but it took 30 minutes after drinks for them to take our dinner order. We were one of four tables... in the entire place.
Third, the menu was tiny compared to what was listed online.
Fourth, they brought bread that is incredibly stale. Like rock hard focaccia bread. I stupidly took a bite, thinking, it can't be right. Stale. Dry. Wrong. We started with the clam chowder, which I do not recommend if you actually like clam chowder. If you like bland soup with chunks of veggies and bits of clam, then this is for you. I got the burger and fries because they didnt have hanger steak, burratini, lamb, flounder, or duck. The burger was just fine. Nothing crazy, just a regular burger that you can over cook at home. Over priced for nothing special burger. My partner got the char. He said it was good. I tried it and, again, it was just regular. Nothing special. Very disappointing meal all around. Most of the menu is reduced down to a few things.
I am giving two stars, because its clean and the servers were nice... when they were there.
