  My husband and I chose The Inn at Weathersfield almost 2 years before our wedding at the beginning of May this year. We found the location and traveled up from Boston specifically to try the food. It was an immediate yes after meeting with Ivan and having dinner that night.
  
  Throughout the process Ivan was our main contact and his background in previous event planning/customer service was always evident. His checklists made sure we knew everything that was expected of us.
  
  We loved that we could use the venue for the entire weekend (Friday-Sunday). Every detail, including providing our guests with a bottle of wine that could be drank anywhere on the property was addressed over our weekend.
  
  The most fun we had in planning was working with Ivan and the chef to make sure every detail for the welcome dinner, the ceremony dinner, and the morning brunch were taken care of. The food was amazing. Several people mentioned they had never had wedding food like this before.
  
  Another reason we picked this Inn was the unique character of all the corners of the Inn. The architecture inside the Inn, the variety of trees around the property, and the beautiful chapel down below that was the perfect amount of green, blooms, and trees yet to bloom for an early May wedding.
  
  We've received a few sample pictures from our photographer and they are so far AMAZING!
  
  The rooms were a variety of sizes. We did use all 12 rooms. There are a few queen size beds, but I did sit on everyone of them and they were all comfortable. Our room was on the very top floor up the spiral staircase. It was very private which was perfect for two people on their wedding weekend. Our king bed was extremely cozy. We had a few guests over 60, and they seemed to handle the stairs to their rooms just fine.
  
  All in all the experience was better than anything we could have imagined. Ivan and Peter did an amazing job! We could not recommend this location for the quintessential small Vermont wedding location.
  
  We are planning to move out of the region, but are absolutely planning to stay here when we come back to ski the east or want a quiet romantic weekend getaway.

  I want to gatekeep the Inn at Weathersfield so badly, but the owners are doing too incredible of a job for us to keep this spot a secret. Every aspect of our stays (yes multiple, because we’ve returned) have been amazing. The rooms couldn’t be cozier, staff couldn’t be kinder, and the food at the restaurant downstairs is immaculate. The most perfect and unique spot for a ski weekend or visit to Vermont!

  My wife and I got married here 15 years ago when the Inn had different management and chef. It was a dream come true and we returned to celebrate our anniversary and our visit was again wonderful. We stayed two nights and were so happy. First of all, Peter and Ivan (not sure if I am spelling correctly) were such good hosts; attentive, funny, and helpful. The inn itself is such a treasure. We also had a fantastic dinner there our first night. Also, and this has nothing to do with the inn, we had a wonderful time exploring Woodstock as well. Very pleased.

  My wife and I loved our visit. We came up two nights for a ski weekend and what a Gem. We got up around 9pm and while the restaurant was closed, we were able to get a couple of drinks and relax before bed. The bartender and a server insisted on helping us with our bags as well as throwing an extra log in the fireplace. On the 2nd night, we had a lovely dinner. The drinks were creative and the apps, mains and desserts were delicious as was breakfast in the AM. Overall, we will book there again. It was a very nice experience.

  My fiancé and I toured the Inn at Weathersfield as a potential Wedding Venue. While we ultimately chose another venue, I cannot say enough good things about our experience here, it made the decision incredibly difficult. Ivan who walked us through everything was incredibly helpful, very thorough, accommodating and over all made us feel at home and welcome. We stayed for dinner, where Ivan himself waited on us. The food was absolutely fantastic, every dish we tried was so flavorful and good and the deserts were to die for. I highly recommend going here, it was truly overall a great experience.
