★ 3We had dinner at Homeport with a large group of 10 people on a Thursday night. They seated us around 5 minutes after we checked in and though we placed drink orders right away they did take a fair amount of time to come out.
The restaurant was fairly crowded and our waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed. Our oysters didn’t come out for half an hour, non-raw apps 45 minutes and our main courses didn’t hit the table for almost 90 minutes.
The oysters were fresh and we really enjoyed the summer succotash, st■ quahogs and cornbread. For my main I had the Miso Tofu which was ok. It could have been spicier and the inclusion of corn ribs hiding in the curry felt like a mistake because I thought I had somehow found a bone in my curry. My husband liked the scallops he ordered but I had friends that didn’t love the linguine and salmon. Rave reviews for the lobster dinner though.
Overall it was a pretty uneven meal but the view and location are dynamite. -

★ 5What an absolute treat! Couldn’t have asked for better weather with that deck view.
Our server, Bella was attentive, gracious, and conversational which added to the experience. The food was phenomenal.
Each menu course offered great options. I had a hard time choosing but the server gave excellent feedback and guidance.
I wish I had taken more photos of the food but we were so immersed in an all around enjoyable dining experience. Capturing it digitally was an after thought.
As a table, we shared a shrimp cocktail and cornbread. The shrimp was big and tasted so fresh. The cornbread was perfect and gave me a teaser to the stuffing in the quahog I ordered. 🤤nn•Our first courses included a beautifully balanced watermelon salad and the buttery and savory flavors in the st■ quahog. 🤌🏽n•Second courses included the steak, scallops, swordfish and fried fluke. All 5⭐️ dishes. I was lucky to taste test the others.
Scallops were tender and perfectly cooked, the swordfish was the best I’ve ever tasted, the steak was excellent if you’re not feeling seafood and I was really surprised by my entree, the fried fluke. Their spin on fish and chips…the onion rings were buttery crisp delicious and the fish had a different breading that was light, filling but not heavy and the Coleslaw was tasty.
It’s a dry town. BYOB is a nice option. They put our bottle on ice and gave use glassware.n•Dessert selected was key lime pie, blueberry cobbler served in a cute mason jar, and they were out of the strawberry rhubarb pie but they did have a peach pie option served with ice creamnnI highly recommend.
We got a little dressy celebrating a birthday but it’s casual dining. Indoors and out on the deck. Oyster bar outside as well. Great atmosphere and great music gave a light and fun vibe. I’d love to return. -

★ 5We had an amazing meal at The Homeport , MV. Max was our server, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, especially when it came to my husband’s food allergies. We were even given a red allergy alert card to place at his seat—such a thoughtful and reassuring touch.
A huge thank you to the staff, the chef, and the entire team for making our dining experience so seamless and enjoyable.
As a busy mom of three, I hadn’t made a reservation, but we were still able to get a table even though we were coming from 30 minutes away. The host was kind, welcoming, and accommodating. I’m so glad we made the trip—what a wonderful experience from start to finish! -

★ 5We had such a great experience here! Our waitress, Roger, was very friendly and helpful. I got the feta and watermelon salad, cornbread, and clam chowder. The chowder broth was amazing and there were large amounts of meat. The watermelon salad was super refreshing. My coworker got the scallops and he said they were some of his favorites he’s ever had!

★ 5It was our first time at Homeport and it did not disappoint. We got a recommendation for the restaurant from one of their servers Bella whom we randomly met one day and she was spot on. Unfortunately she wasn't there to take care of us today but Kian did an amazing job wich we really appreciated. The food and the view are both amazing. We will be back!
