★ 5Another great new restaurant to Plymouth’s food scene! Owned by the same amazing owners as Lobster Hut, the Himalaya captures the distinct flavors of Tibet and Nepal. The Momo is a must try along with the stir fry noodles with beef. The food here tastes very fresh and homemade. The outside can be deceiving as there is plenty of seating inside. A new go to for me!

★ 5We loved our meal at Himalayan Restaurant. We had pekora which is a fried shredded vegetable appetizer, then shared two entrees: Chicken Curry (served with rice, peppers and onions) and House Stirfried Noodles (chicken, beef and pork, onions, onions, sprouts). We ordered both extra spicy. Both dishes had great seasoning but not overly sauced which we loved. Service: Bar tender and servers greeted us warmly upon entering, server was helpful with menu and attentive, and even chef (maybe owner) came out to ask us how we liked our dishes. Great service, great food, great value, so we will tell our friends and come back to try other dishes.

★ 5We were immediately greeted upon walking in by the bartender who was extremely friendly and welcoming. We commented on the smell of food and she told us exactly what dish we were smelling, the stir fried noodles. Our server greeted us right away and brought water. We shared the pakora, shyabhaklep, momo, and stir fried house noodles. Everything was EXCELLENT. All of the dishes were seasoned so well. Our server was great, very attentive and kind. I’m excited to come back and really happy to see this addition to town. Definitely try this place asap, whether or not you’ve had anything like it before.

★ 5I rarely write any reviews (good or bad), but my experience at this place made me immediately pick up my phone to write. The food here is just wonderful, it felt like I was eating comfort from someone’s home. My dad has a bunch of allergies and they were so kind and accommodating. My family and I tried the chicken curry, pork momo, and beef stir fry noodles, we also tried the buns. We left nothing but clean plates. Owner was so cute, he came multiple times to talk to us about the menu as well as his family and story. This restaurant is a special place, if your reading reviews right now and thinking of coming here, please do I promise you won’t regret it.

★ 5We stopped in today for the soft opening, very first day, and loved it! This is the real deal, authentic Nepalese food. We devoured our Nepali Curry, Chicken Skewers, and Stir Fried Noodles. Every meal was filled with flavor -delicious! And the owners Kaisang and Dechen and their daughter Yangke welcome you to their restaurant as they would welcome you into their home. Wonderful addition to Plymouth downtown food scene. Highly recommend.
