★ 5Delicious brunch. We had a pumpkin espresso martini, which was like a pumpkin spice latte with a kick, and a mango mimosa. Both were great brunch drinks! We got biscuits and gravy. The gravy was light and fluffy and not overpowering of the biscuits and eggs at all. Highly recommend!

★ 5As locals from Southern Maine, we were looking for a romantic date night spot in Portland that felt comfortable, not overly formal, but still delivered high-end food—and The Front Room absolutely nailed it.
From the very first phone call, the hostess set the tone with great service and made everything easy. When we arrived, we were seated promptly despite it being a busy Friday night, which we really appreciated.
The atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for—relaxed enough to dress down, but still intimate and perfect for a date night. And the food… incredible. Every dish exceeded expectations and felt like true fine cuisine without any of the pretentiousness.
This is exactly the kind of place we’ll keep coming back to. If you’re looking for that perfect balance of comfort and quality in Portland, The Front Room delivers. -

★ 5Lovely establishment! Great place to eat and then walk to the Eastern Prom’s ocean views or downtown. We enjoyed a delicious brunch of Irish Benedict, home fries, and a pancake with real maple syrup. The portions were sizable and appropriate for the price, and kept us full until dinner. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We sat inside, but the outside area is lovely, it’s a great neighborhood with historic homes. The coffee was good, too. I appreciated the nostalgic ambiance inside, and it’s definitely a great place for a meal anytime they’re open. I plan to try their dinner menu when friends come to town.

★ 5My friend and I were visiting from MA to celebrate my birthday. This cute little spot was about a 5 min walk from our air BnB! We had dinner last night with Jerry, he is so personable, funny and all around amazing service. This morning we came for brunch and were just as pleased. We loved the food and everyone there was happy to be there. What a fun spot in Portland
