★ 3We tried the Friendly Toast for breakfast while in the city and ultimately felt disappointed based on the price, service, and value compared to our expectations. While we were able to be seated right away the food took a long time to arrive.
Omelette was more of a folded egg with the toppings laying between and did not have much cheese. The toppings all fell out while you ate them. Home fries were left unseasoned. Our group did enjoy the French toast though!
All in all we have found other breakfast places in the city that hit the spot and for less money. -

★ 5Beyond impressed- the food here is SO GOOD! Short wait for a seat , cute downstairs seating like a speakeasy, incredibly varied menu options (unique and enticing), vegan options which was a nice surprise! I’m not vegan but don’t eat red meat and the vegan sausage was absolutely delicious as a replacement pairing with my Monte Madame which usually comes with ham. My partner had the Gochujang Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was out of this world. The flavors are just astounding. Service was great, Nicole was friendly and efficient! Just an amazing place to go!

★ 5By far best choice for breakfast! Chloe was our server and couldn’t have been more charming! The food was outstanding, a creative, and the eclectic atmosphere was so welcoming and fun. We will definitely be back!

★ 4I stopped in solo with no reservation and was seated at the bar in what felt like the basement level of the restaurant. Perfectly fine setup, but I would’ve much preferred some natural light; especially for a breakfast spot that leans so hard into its vibe.
I ordered the Breakfast Burrito, packed with scrambled eggs, jalapeño-jack, tater tots, black beans, fire-roasted poblano corn, pico de gallo, chipotle sauce, and crumbled chorizo. Credit where it’s due: the food was excellent. Well-seasoned, hearty, and exactly the kind of indulgent breakfast you hope for when you order something this loaded.
Service was just okay. I was forgotten about for a bit, though the free coffee was a nice recovery. Overall, the meal carried the experience more than the atmosphere or service. It’s good food, no doubt, but given the hype surrounding this place, it didn’t quite live up to expectations. I’d return for the burrito, but next time I’d aim for a seat upstairs with some daylight. -

★ 4Steak omelet was very tasty. Breakfast Burrito was so so due to soggy tortilla skin. Ambience was friendly and service was superb. Would be better if they upgraded their plastic plates.
