  Located in the very heart of downtown Cincinnati, Taste of Belgium – The Banks sits right beside the famous Queen City sign along the Ohio River, offering an unbeatable view right at the entrance. The location couldn’t be more convenient—both Great American Ball Park and Paycor Stadium are within easy walking distance, so it’s easy to imagine this place getting extremely busy during baseball or football game days.
  
  Taste of Belgium is a well-known local franchise, and this location blends Belgian elements with Cincinnati culture through its décor and artwork. The atmosphere feels warm and welcoming, making it a comfortable place for family meals or casual gatherings with friends.
  
  The restaurant offers coffee, Belgian beers, pastries, and a full brunch/lunch menu, though the prices are slightly on the higher side. Of course, the highlight is their famous Belgian waffle. I tried the classic version, which had the authentic Belgian texture—crispy outside and fluffy inside. Adding syrup made it even better and brought out the full flavor.
  
  During a weekday lunch visit, I ordered the mussels with a tomato-based broth. The dish came with a generous portion of mussels, and the broth was rich and flavorful. Pairing it with bread to soak up the sauce made the meal especially satisfying.
  
  As a side, I also tried the Brussels sprouts, which were topped with plenty of bacon bits. Unfortunately, they seemed slightly overcooked and a bit greasy, with some burnt edges that took away from the overall balance.
  
  Overall, this is a pleasant and lively restaurant, perfect for a weekend meetup, brunch, or a meal before or after a game. The great location, warm atmosphere, and signature waffles make it a popular stop in Cincinnati’s riverfront district.

  Came here the next morning after the football game. Been wanting to try it! Definitely a must try if you’re in the city. Very unique menu! Have a wide variety of specialty coffee selections! My husband had the waffles and chicken. The waffle was like none we have ever eaten before. The view is amazing as welll

  A good food from Europe. First time trying Belgium food, we ordered “Bolo” “Steak and fries” “Chicken Burger” and “Salmon”everything was delicious! One remark to staff, educate more your waitress about menu, it’s hard to make a decision what to order if you not familiar with Belgium cuisine.
  PS. The problem is finding the parking in Cincinnati downtown specifically in Saturday night. I parked on the street and paid 5$ for two hours which is not bad.

  Just went there for a takeaway coffee.
  My iced pumpkin spice latte was amazing. 9/10nnHowever Hot Chai latte was alright. It wasn’t lukewarm and didn’t really have “chai” taste. 2/10nnThe service was amazing! 10/10nGood ambience as well.

  First time ever at Taste of Belgium. And I must say the food with some of the best tasting food we've ever had. We stopped in after the Reds game, it's missing a star mostly because it was very hot where we were sitting which affects the atmosphere and had we gotten a drink refill without having to go ask the manager for it that would have bolstered the other one.
