  We were looking for a sit down coffee shop in Portland during shoulder season and this place hit the spot. As a queer couple, we felt instantly welcomed and the vibe inside was so cute. We love a small business that supports social causes too. We ordered a chai latte and a matcha latte. This was the best matcha latte I’ve ever had in my life. They also had a cute shop with small beauty and wellness products. So happy we stopped in.

  Smalls is a quaint little spot with peak small-town Maine charm. One of the best breakfast sammies in Portland, hands down, and also a great place to sit for happy hour. The building also features a neat little shop with beers, wines, cards, candles, and all sorts of cozy home accessories. Just an all-around cool Portland spot.

  A thoughtfully curated cafe perfect for a quick bite, coffee, or longer hangout. Had a Pimento BLT and Ube Latte. Friendly staff. Delicious sandwich. Good latte. Happy that I was able to stop by on a recommendation!

  I had a wonderful experience at this coffee shop! The interior design and decor create such a stylish and cozy atmosphere — perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The grilled cheese was absolutely delicious, perfectly crispy and comforting. While the hot chocolate was good, it was a bit on the average side. The customer service was giving mixed feelings, the Barista guy Tyler looked like he was ready to go home but the guy making the food Matthew I believe was very nice and engaging appropriately with customers. I’ll definitely be back for more!

  A really cute spot for lunch! Store was adorable and clean. Drinks and food were okay, mortadella sandwich was our preference over the two but the staff was super friendly offering recommendations and tastings!
