If you’re in Kendall and want something fast, fresh, and actually satisfying, Shy Bird is a layup.

I grabbed the chicken Caesar wrap and it was loaded. Real chunks of juicy roasted chicken, crisp romaine, plenty of parm, and just enough dressing to keep it flavorful without turning into a soggy mess. The wrap was tight, hefty, and didn’t fall apart halfway through which already puts it ahead of most spots in the area.

The space itself fits Kendall Square perfectly. Clean, modern, lots of natural light, good for a quick solo lunch or an easy group meet-up. Service is fast but not rushed.

It’s not trying to be fancy. It’s just really solid chicken done right.

Went on a night that they had a deal on chicken tenders. We ended up getting the tenders, two Caesar salads, and another salad I can’t remember.

The Caesar salads were good, but I think it would’ve been even better if the croutons were crushed. The flavor of the chicken was good. The ranch there is oddly amazing. The salads were good, but not exactly what I was expecting from the hype on TikTok.

Only had outside seating which was okay bec it wasn’t too hot outside, but the chairs were pretty uncomfortable.

This place was absolutely fabulous. The piri piri rotisserie chicken was juicy, tender and well seasoned. Highly recommended. My coworkers all loved their orders as well. For lunch come before noon as there was a line. We got in just before the rush.

Had a team outing here. The veggie power bowl was a hit! Veggies, avocado, option of adding tofu with rice and lentils. It was a satisfying lunch. They have good options for lunch, another hit on our table was the chicken cesar wrap.

It seems like most of the reviews on here are for lunch, but this must be the most underrated dinner spot in Kendall square. I was absolutely blown away by the fresh, flavorful vegetarian options! The savoy cabbage, hot honey ricotta, and delicata squash were all out of this world good and should not be skipped! My husband also enjoyed the piri piri chicken and the portion was huge. Shoutout to our waitress Juniper for the great food recs! We will be back.
