  We visited the Original Pancake House in Boise with our kids and had an overall great experience. The waitlist system before even getting seated was great, you can join online or in person and see exactly where you are in line, which is so helpful with kids. It was rather busy and the food took a little time to arrive after ordering, but we got drinks right away, coffee refills were offered, and the staff was friendly and attentive so we didn’t mind the wait as we chatted over coffee. dishes were cleared quickly as we emptied them, giving us more table space. The pancakes were amazing! Easily 10/10, the best!
  
  One note: the online menu doesn’t reflect current prices, including photos of the in-house menu as of January 2026. Overall, great food, great service, and we’ll definitely be back!

  Has the Baked Apple pancake and the seasonal Pumpkin pancakes. Both of them were absolutely delicious, and I can't recommend them enough. The whipped cream is fantastic, and I wish I'd ordered a side for the apple pancake.
  
  The coffee was not very good, even though it came in adorable little mugs.
  
  It's busy! Get on the wait list before you get there! It took them about twenty minutes to move 15 tables, which is fast as can be.
  
  I'll admit I've driven past this place quite a few times, it does not look like a place that has some of the best pancakes in Idaho, but here we are. Looking forward to returning for some savory stuff, but even if all they do right are pancakes, I'll be back.

  Apple pancake was delicious! So much larger than I thought it would be. Corned beef omelet filled entire side of the plate. So good. Hashbrowns crispy and well browned. It was really busy so environment was very loud. Very friendly staff. Great experience. Will continue to visit!

  Just a happy friendly family place to enjoy your dining out experience. The food is all homemade with family flare. The staff moves as if 1 fluid motion is happening. The staff is like one big professional family. Even the bus staff is amazing and truly the professional at their job. The building is clean yet has a feel like you are visiting Grandmas farm house.

  Hadn’t been here before, but I live in Nampa.
  
  Nice little place with about 20 tables. It was fairly busy at 9:00 on a Friday, but it would probably be packed earlier, being a locals hangout. Even with the crowd, it’s fairly quiet.
  
  I ordered the Senior Plate, but added a second egg as well. The eggs were nice and soft, the bacon crisp and the pancakes were so light and fluffy. What a satisfying breakfast for 13 bucks and some change, including coffee.
