★ 5I flew in from orange county, Betty's café was very close to the air port. I went in and the restraunt was very clean and smelled amazing. I sat and ordered the breakfast burrito and had a French press coffee What a treat. It was delicious. I will go again on my way back home. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's fantastic. We need one in California.

★ 1This was my Mother's Day breakfast out. It also is the spot that today earned my worst restaurant in the valley award. The server was caring and kind, but had zero server skills. He never heard of anyone ordering an egg over medium?
It took a long time to put in our order with only 3 other tables in the whole place and 4 people working on the floor.
The menu is pricey compared to most other breakfast spots. The food took ages to arrive. When it did, half of our breakfast was missing. The server was confused when we asked about it. Then he went in the back. Came out almost 10 minutes later to say it would be a bit as they ran out of something. okay.
The pancakes and potatoes never arrived. We asked for them to go. They never arrived again. We left without them after paying the full bill with no offer of an adjustment.
The avocado toast was a slice of toasted whole wheat dry and an ice cold avocado which made the toast cold and the over medium egg cold and rubbery.
In many parts of the counrty, this would be called a 'greasy spoon'. The bacon was the cheap-paper thin bacon, which is not common in the valley unless you go to a chain like Dennys.
We went downtown to the street market, then went and got some real food.
We were ripped off and I would bet money this place will not make it.
Regarded ADA parking, it is far from the entrance and not very welcoming. The parking spot is corroded and lumpy and not safe. The one spot closer to the door is shared by the neighboring business and was full with an unplated vehicle. The front doors are heavy and not air/spring loaded. I never felt so unwelcome.
The one good thing I can say is the server was really caring and polite, but again, he had no idea how to serve. The other good news is my money is welcomed elsewhere and that is just what we will do. I would not return here if it was free!
The good review here must be from a friend or family member. Only one review should have been my red flag. You live and learn. One final thing: it wasn't just bad luck. The table next to us waited forever for pancakes and they arrived undercooked in the middle. Liquid pancakes! It needs Gordon Ramsay! -

★ 5The food was really great. It was quite a bit better than I anticipated. Fried eggs were cooked spot on. Really tasty potatoes. Cheesy grits were good. Bacon was good. I liked the touch of crisping the biscuit on the grill.
My only complaint is that I was the only patron in the restaurant and I didn’t get asked once how my meal was tasting or “do you need anything” once my food came out. I think the girl is a little shy and timid, but I was just surprised by that. I honestly thought that they would be a little overbearing being a new restaurant looking for customers especially since I was the only one in there.
I also was surprised by the atmosphere when I walked in. Much nicer inside than that old strip mall look outside. I will be going back.
If they can get their name out there, I think this will be a successful restaurant. Not an ideal location to be seen I think though. -

★ 1REALLY BAD....
1. No atmosphere: No music. BAD interior design. Tacky plastic table cloths. Drop ceilings. Large overhead ceiling lights (Office style)nn2. Questionable Drinks: Ordered a London Fog, got a giant metal French Press FULL of milk with tiny specs of Earl Grey tea?
3. Terrible Food: I got the breakfast BLT. Soggy bread. No seasoning or taste. Random, unmelted slices of cheese that shouldn't have been on it. Husband got the skillet. Tasteless, overcooked. Wish we would have eaten at home.
Not sure why the owners bothered to put in the time, energy, and money for something less than decent. Don't waste your money.
