Last night my friend and I visited MOOD for dinner, and honestly, this was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Los Angeles. We ordered the duck, miso salmon, tres ceviche, and blue cheese st■ olives - and every dish was genuinely impressive.

The food tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and well thought out. The miso salmon became the favorite of the night for both of us - tender, juicy fish with a slightly sweet glaze paired with carrot purée sounded unusual at first, but somehow worked perfectly together.

What honestly stood out the most to me was the price-to-quality ratio. Considering the quality of the ingredients, the presentation, the flavors, and the overall experience, I personally haven’t been to another restaurant in Los Angeles that could compete at this level for the price.

The cocktails were also amazing. Tropical Mood had a perfect sweet and sour balance - refreshing and easy to drink. Red Velvet was smoother and slightly sweeter without feeling too heavy or overpowering.

And the service made the evening even better. Karolina, Diana, and Dasha were so attentive, welcoming, and professional that the whole atmosphere felt warm and comfortable from start to finish.

Already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the new menu. Thank you, guys - you’re doing an incredible job.

This was honestly one of the best brunches I’ve ever had - not just in LA, but anywhere in the world. The food was absolutely incredible, every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully done. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Everything came out super fast, but without feeling rushed. Such a lovely experience from start to finish - I’ll definitely be back.

I visited Mood LA and really enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious and fresh, and overall everything was well prepared. The service was good and attentive — the staff made us feel welcome and checked in at the right moments.
The atmosphere deserves a special mention: very cozy, modern, and comfortable, a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. One small thing to note — if you prefer your steak served very hot, it’s a good idea to mention it in advance. Mine came more warm than hot.
Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would definitely recommend

This is a breakfast brunch restaurant. We came for brunch and to celebrated my brother’s birthday. We sat down right away. I recommend you make reservations. I really enjoyed the outdoor dining with privacy of the restaurant. The decor is very modern with an elegant feel. We were served by Olena, she came and checked on our table several times. Our food was served quite fast. I had the pastrami and cheese omelette see sourdough bread with cream cheese. The pastrami was not as tinder as I thought it would be, but delicious all the same. My brother ordered the breakfast burger with truffle fries and said it was delicious. This restaurant has gender neutral restrooms. When it was time to pay for our meal Olena came over and announced the total of our meal. I thought that was odd. Most servers just hand over the device to pay. Parking is difficult due to limited parking. There is street meter parking.

This is a very cute and cozy place where you can find both Syrniki and Chicken Kyiv, which already makes it feel special. It feels relaxed and welcoming, with a nice balance between comfort food and a modern café atmosphere.

    Menu overview:
Breakfast is served all day and makes up a big part of the menu.
Most breakfast dishes cost between $17 and $22.
There are classic options like avocado toast for $18, eggs benedict for $17, shakshuka and humshuka for $19, and omelettes starting from $12.
If you want something more filling, there is a breakfast burger for $22 and steak and eggs for $28.
Syrniki are available in two versions: classic for $17 and with mango custard and berries for $19.
Sweet options such as pancakes, waffles, French toast, and chia pudding are usually priced between $14 and $16.

Starters and salads are good if you want something lighter.
Mezze items like hummus, falafel, and baba ghanoush cost between $10 and $16, and a mezze set is $25. Salads range from $17 to $27, depending on the ingredients.

Main dishes are mostly in the $24-28 range. Chicken Kyiv costs $25, schnitzel and steak sandwich are $24, steak and fries is $28, and soups like tomato soup or gazpacho are $14. Sides such as fries or sweet potato fries cost between $8 and $12.

Desserts are fairly priced, mostly around $10-14. One of the special desserts is the Upside Down Napoleon, which costs $14.

    Drinks:
Coffee starts at $4 and goes up to about $8 for specialty drinks. Matcha, chai, tea, and lemonades are in the $6-9 range.
    Cocktails cost $14-16.
Wine by the glass is usually $14-19, bottles start from around $45, and beer is $9.

The food looks really nice, with restaurant-style presentation. Everything is well plated and looks appealing.

Taste-wise, there is a bit of room for improvement. The syrniki were good and came with condensed milk, sour cream, and berries. I liked them, but they are not sweet and the texture is a little uneven. The Chicken Kyiv was slightly dry this time, though that might not always be the case.

From the special menu, we tried the Upside Down Napoleon. It’s served in a glass with layers of cream and pastry. It’s not very traditional, so it may not be for everyone, but it’s nice to see the place trying something different.

The atmosphere is friendly and cozy, the service is great, and the interior is beautiful. One small downside is that on sunny days, if you sit on the couch near the big opening windows, it can get quite hot and the sun can be uncomfortable.

Overall, this is a lovely place with a wide menu, nice presentation, and good service. With a bit more consistency in flavors, it could easily become a go-to spot.
