★ 5Matadora was an amazing dining experience, and every bite was delicious. The ambiance was beautiful, warm, and inviting. I really loved the open kitchen because it added to the experience and made the restaurant feel lively. The bar was also very big and nicely designed, making it a great spot to sit and enjoy a drink.
Now let’s get back to the food. I had tapas one night, including the crab, short rib, shrimp toast, tuna tartare, and duck, and everything was spectacular. Each dish had its own flavor and was well prepared. The whole fish entrée was also delicious and cooked perfectly. Nothing was spared, and you could tell a lot of care went into the presentation and taste.
The cocktails were well made, flavorful, and paired nicely with the meal. Edgar was a pretty amazing server and took really good care of us, which made the experience even better.
They also serve a breakfast buffet and à la carte options in the morning, which is a great plus. Overall, Matadora is definitely worth stopping by for great food, drinks, service, and ambiance. -

★ 3Matadora delivers truly authentic Spanish flavors. The paella smells and tastes like real Spanish paella — rich in saffron, well-balanced, and clearly prepared with respect for tradition. The patatas bravas were excellent, with a bold, flavorful sauce, and the chorizo was properly executed and satisfying.
The burger, however, was disappointing. The bun was noticeably dry and lacked enough sauce, which ultimately diminished the overall quality of the dish.
Dessert tip: ask for the flan — it’s not on the menu, but it’s worth it.
Unfortunately, the service was unacceptable. Our server appeared visibly annoyed from the beginning. Simple questions about ingredients or sauces were met with dismissive, almost disrespectful responses. The attitude felt condescending and made the experience uncomfortable. Hospitality is a fundamental part of Spanish dining culture, and that warmth was completely absent.
Because of the service alone, this place receives a very low rating from me.
If you’re in Massachusetts and want good Spanish food, Matadora is worth trying — but be prepared to tolerate poor service. -

★ 5We had an enjoyable tapas date night here, with my date having found his most favorite Old Fashioned cocktail!
I loved the charred octopus and the buratta was super fresh. -

★ 4Me and my wife and son went to this restaurant and the service was 100% great. Food was hit or miss. We ordered the Paella and it was ok. We've had way better Paella for cheaper. It was enough for 2 people but a little overpriced. Sangria was $14 a glass, which is pretty steep. Maybe it's the location. We also got empanadas from the Tapas menu and they were small for $16. Compared to the huge cheeseburger with fries for $12, it didn't add up. Tapas should be cheaper. Other than that, the place was nice. Service was great, but prices need some work.
