★ 5This is the joint for sandwiches, and as a bonus they have excellent fries. Crispy and brown with the exact right amount of salt.
We are really far from Cuba here in Lebanon, but let me tell you about their Cubano. Wowsah it is legit. The smoky flavor of the meet piled in there thick with a great amount of cheese and mustard. The pickle is fresh and crispy. I ordered it expecting it to be alright and it was rad. Totally rad.
We also had a roast beef sandwich which was nearly better than the Cubano, wow it was so good and flavorful. They have that technique of layering flavors down to a science.
I can buy these same ingredients and go home to make these sandwiches but they don't taste the same and that's because these guys are masters behind the grill. This isn't fast food, so don't drop in in some kind of hurry because it takes a minute to make a sandwich this good. It's 110% worth the wait.
A nice selection of drinks and chips to pick from along with those fries. I'm tellin ya, save room for the fries. They are rad.
It gets packed and they have outside seating which now that the snow is melting we can use more often. -

★ 5Hands down the best Roast Beef Sandwich I have ever had. The flavor, tenderness was perfect and combined with the grilled onions, fresh lettuce and the sauces, just a delicious delight to eat. This goes the same for the French fries, great.

★ 5Stopped through on our way to Vermont and I’m so glad we did! Sandwiches were top tier with perfect balance and texture. I got the Cubano and my wife got the pulled pork. Both were melt in your mouth delicious. High quality good at a good price!

★ 5The Little Store at the Marsh Brothers Deli is an historic and legendary landmark known for 5 things: egg breakfast sandwiches on Portuguese muffins or wraps, rockin' sammies with home-smoked meats, fresh daily donuts, homemade soups and local beer drops. Look at all of the Reader's Choice awards on the window outside. There's no coincidence why. Delicious flavors for breakfast and lunch. Check their Facebook page for daily photos of donuts and features. Donuts are commonly cinnamon, fritters, maple and lemon zeppoles. Their most popular sandwiches are the pressed Cubano with pickles and mustard and the Roast Beef sandwich with an onion roll. The Cubano sandwich is hefty and satisfying, cleanly presented. The Roast Beef sandwich is better. It's got a real pleasing marinated flavor, it's a stack of soft, thinly sliced roast beef and the onion roll-- where else are you going to find any sandwich like that in the area?! Speaking of another fabulous find: there is a smoked chicken meat salad sub. This is the best chicken sandwich sub I've ever tasted. There is a simple and plain version. They also feature the smoked chicken salad in daily specials sometimes with added ingredients. Also for the egg breakfast sandwiches: I haven't found Portuguese muffins anywhere outside of the Vineyard or Manhattan. Maybe in the whole Bostonian area these muffins are more common but I haven't found them anywhere in grocery stores in the Upper Valley. There are also local maple syrups, honey and chips available. You can walk right in and go to the back refrigerators for local beer and find recent beer drops. Also there are local maple products available. Their meat smoker is built special-ordered by their cousin and is quite a beast! My advice: don't come to the Little Store at Marsh Brothers Deli. Or else you might become a ravenous regular.

★ 5Always such a great meal here. Easily the best sandwiches for miles around. Always fresh and warm as everything is cooked to order. This place is always busy and I'll always understand why. I moved to California and couldn't wait to come back to New Hampshire for one of their steak and cheeses. Their food is always filling and worth the price as it's a little bit pricey. They close early in the afternoon so make sure to get there early enough, deal with the lunch rush and just enjoy! I'll miss this place when we leave again.
