★ 4Come for the pancakes & leave with left overs because they are massive. Their prices are good especially for the area. Staff were friendly. Service was fast. Everyone in our group ended up getting blueberry & chocolate chip pancakes. The pancakes were definitely the size of the plate and absolutely loaded with toppings. My only knock was with being so close to amazing maple syrup the syrup was just ok compared to the top quality that is around the area. Overall if you want a delicious stack of pancakes this is your place.

★ 5The Bacon Waffle with Maple butter is to die for. Coffee is delicious. Boston Cream Ball was excellent. All in all my Sister & I were very pleased.
The only drawback is that their home fries are deep fried. We prefer done on the grill. -

★ 5First time in St. Albans, VT. for the Vermont Maple Festival, and at the opening ceremonies they mentioned several local restaurants were participating in a maple taste contest. We heard them say the Maple City Diner, and went for lunch. Everything was exceptional including the service. We had the Maple City Burger with maple and the Maple Cream pie. We gave both items a perfect score on the festival grade card. Wonderful place. Great big parking lot, and a wheel chair ramp right to the front door.

★ 5Had a delicious, casual, after-ski dinner with the family. Kids liked their milkshakes and husband and I really enjoyed our boozy milkshakes! Rail Trail fries where delicious, fried pickles were made just right and my husbands mac&cheese with pulled pork was delicious. Ate leftovers for breakfast this morning and it was all just as good. My son told me I should go work at a diner to learn to make pancakes like theirs!

★ 5Maple City Diner, what can I say? My wife and I love you. Why aren't you closer? We stopped in, for the first time, on our way back from Montreal. Nice little diner, very friendly service (Danielle rocks), super casual, simple decor, awesome tunes (50's and 60's) and most importantly crazy good -no, delicious- food. I ordered gravy & biscuits, Martha got the corn beef hash. Best damn white gravy sauce I've ever had. It had just a touch of maple syrup sweetness that made it for me, a good compliment to the maple sausage. The biscuits were tender, soft, lightly buttery, and perfect. Martha's hash was so good I got a side order of it. We both very much enjoyed the gently spicy-sweet homefries. We will be back Maple City Diner and we already know what we will be getting. Happy New Year!
