  My family and I walked into this restaurant after a disparaging experience at the Egg and I - we all were feeling a bit on edge and raw after such an encounter. But the staff here was like the bright morning sun to our darkened morning. Once they found out we were celebrating 2 birthdays, they came out with birthday muffins singing happy birthday to us before we even ordered our meal and treated us like family. They were so warm and friendly. Their food was tremendous with good portions and reasonable prices. This is now where the King family will have breakfast when ever we're in Wells from now on. We cannot say enough about how good Gee (our waitress) was or the owners of the company. They're just good people. Thank you again for turning our day around and making our birthdays so special. You all are amazing.

  Mary Ellen and Gee were fantastic, friendly and went above and beyond to help us celebrate 2 birthdays after a terrible experience at the Egg and I.
  If I could give more stars I would! Best service we’ve received in Maine ever absolutely wonderful people and the food was really good. The Irish Benedict was amazing it was the best hollandaise I’ve ever had.

  Horizons Family Restaurant in Wells is exactly what you want in a cozy breakfast and brunch spot. It has that classic diner feel—friendly, welcoming, and focused on hearty, satisfying food. The menu offers all the typical diner staples, but the standout for me was the blueberry pancakes. Honestly, they were the best I’ve ever had—fluffy, loaded with fresh berries, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. The whole place has a warm, family-style atmosphere that makes you want to linger over your coffee. A true local gem for a comforting start to the day.

  First time we tried Horizons. My fiance said his lobster Benny was the best he had ever head and that says a whole lot! He ate it right up! Our waitress was amazing she was quick and ontop of all her tables! I had the normal French toast and it was very good as well.

  Nice little place. Great food and service. Had a little wait to get in but went very quickly. Food arrived rather quickly and still very hot. All around great place
