★ 5Very impressed with the quality and selection of the dishes at the Groundwater. I had the fig prosciutto flatbread (pictured), which was a large and filling meal. The flatbread was crisp, the figs sweet. My colleagues similarly enjoyed their dishes. Each dish is crafted with care and attention. I went on a Friday evening, and they had a pair of talented guitarists quietly playing in the background. To top of off, they offer a great selection of fresh frozen items for take home. We will definitely be back!

★ 5Went last month with husband and had to go back with friends. We ordered and tried so many tapas. The hanging bacon was fun. The menu is seasonal and we had pumpkin hummus, st■ dates, bruschetta, meatballs, Brussels sprouts and more. They had so many different ciders, beer and local wine. Love that they support local wineries and farms.

★ 5Unique spot, love the selection of farm products, they do ice cream in the summer and there's a cozy spot outside with picnic tables and a roof. Beautiful wooden hightop bar inside for dine in and the wood interior makes it feel rustic and warm. Coolers full of meats, dairy and local seasonal products. The sourdough paninis I've tried are so so good. They have seasonal options too. This place is such a treat to have in RI !

★ 5Groundwater Cafe makes the Best Orange/Cranberry muffins in Rhode Island. The Blueberry are also excellent. Made fresh daily you can taste the difference. Very friendly staff always. Great coffee too.
On a scale of 1-10, I would rate it a 15.
Not to be missed, and I drive 40 minutes to get there. -

★ 4We had dinner here recently with our daughter and 2 grandchildren. If a 4.5 rating were available, that’s what I’d give. But I don’t do ratings of 5 unless there are no problems at all. The tapas selections were all delicious and there was a great variety available. I especially liked the brussels sprouts, and the avocado st■ with ricotta, pistachios, and cranberries. But, the skewered chicken was marred by incompletely cooked risotto (still a little crunchy in the middle). And the water glasses were really small, requiring frequent refilling. Service was friendly though a bit slow and disorganized. There are local food products available for sale in a small area as you enter and it was fun to browse through them. I am looking forward to returning here in the future!
