Parking is free in the parking garage nearby so don’t worry. Definitely get the beignets, especially if you love toaster strudels. They are a soft moist pastry with a little bit of crisp on the outer layers, and they have a house glaze added to the mix to give it that hint of flavor which I did love. Pretty much a vanilla glaze that’s all it is. Catfish and grits were decent The grits were a little bit runny. I’m not sure if the grits had to be this type of texture for this dish. This is my second time having fish and grits of any kind. The coconut pancake had too much coconut Shavings for me it was overbearing and I didn’t really like it. Gravy and biscuits Just didn’t like . For more in debt detail review check my TikTok @Mr.Foodie

As a spur-of-the-moment treat to myself for teaching my class of 40 students Zumba I was ready to eat. This was my first time and I was not disappointed. I ordered a veggie omelet, grits, collard greens, yams, and cranberry juice. I see why there was no salt or pepper on the tables because my food was seasoned just right. I don’t eat meat and was happy to know the collard greens were not cooked with meat. I ate outside and listened to the old school melodies. My omelet was nice and fluffy with spinach, squash, and zucchini in it. It’s safe to say that I needed a nap afterwards. As a alumni of Georgia State University I would have definitely eaten here during undergrad. Happy as a faculty member of my alma mater I can stop by. Thank you!

This place was absolutely outstanding. I was immediately greeted at the door with great energy and was seated instantly. I ordered the avocado toast and the ingredients were so fresh and delicious. My best friend ordered the fried chicken biscuit and gravy which was amazing as well. I recommend everyone try this wonderful breakfast and lunch spot!

The name says it all - the grits and eggs are the stars of the show! The grits are incredibly creamy and delicious, and the eggs are cooked with real skill, making for a fantastic breakfast highlight. Unfortunately, the rest of the menu didn’t quite measure up. The French toast was average, something I could’ve made at home, and the biscuits were tough and plain. The “homemade” gravy was a letdown, lacking flavor, and the coffee was bland. The orange juice, despite being advertised as farm-to-table and refillable, tasted like watery concentrate - definitely not worth a second glass unless it’s mixed into a cocktail!

On the bright side, the service was prompt, though the staff came across as a bit cold and indifferent. The ambience is lovely, especially the outdoor dining area, which makes for a pleasant experience. It’s also heartwarming to see the transformation of the Summer Hill community - kudos to Georgia State University for their efforts in uplifting the area. I’d come back for the grits and eggs alone, but I hope the rest of the menu catches up to the star dish!

Booked a random weekend in Atlanta from Ohio and came across this restaurant on TikTok. Customer service was great and food was better. The host did forget something i added on after my initial order but it was no big deal i didn’t need it because the rest of the meal was fulfilling. I will be back next time i am in town.
