★ 5I recently visited Breakfast at Barney’s, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! The food was absolutely delicious the chicken and waffles were phenomenal, with the wings perfectly seasoned, and the chicken Philly sandwich was equally fantastic. The truffle fries were amazing, and the peach basil drink was the perfect combination. The peach cobbler was on point not too sweet, but just right.
Additionally, the staff was wonderful everyone, from the waitstaff to the bussers, was incredibly kind and attentive. Our waitress, Diamond, was absolutely the best, making our visit even more enjoyable. The manager and the whole team truly made us feel welcome.
Breakfast at Barney’s is definitely a must go spot. It’s clear why they’ve been around for years they truly have the best cooks and an amazing atmosphere. -

★ 2I unfortunately didn’t have the best experience. The food was just okay. I ordered the veggie omelette with creamy grits and a side of French toast. The grits were very lumpy and didn’t taste fresh—it seemed like they were scraped from the bottom of the pot. The French toast was mushy in the center.
I asked the server if my food could be taken back, but we were told there are no take-backs. She mentioned that the manager would come out to take a look at the grits, but no one ever came. The only time the server checked on us was when we waved her over. I understand it was her first day in training, so she was still learning. However, management or the supporting server could have stepped in to make sure everything was okay. The only interaction we had with the other server was when she brought us the check.
Unfortunately, the portions and overall experience left us still hungry. We actually ended up stopping at McDonald’s on the way home because my friend was still hungry, which added to the disappointment.
It was especially disheartening because my friend was treating me to a birthday brunch. We were really excited to visit and support this Black-owned restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience fell short.
I genuinely pray this establishment grows in its weak areas so it can continue to thrive and s쳮d. -

★ 3Service is not the best. Waited an hour for our main dishes and waited 10/15 minutes for our server to greet us when we initially sat down.
Soul rolls appetizer is not good. It’s completely overpowered by the candied yams… all I tasted was cinnamon.
While we waited we just knew the food had to be worth it and it was. The food came out piping hot and fresh, but by that time we were already turned off by the experience.
I would recommend this restaurant for to someone who is not in a rush to eat. -

★ 5Had a lovely Saturday brunch with friends at Breakfastat Barney's. The choices on the menu definitely present a dilemma. Too many amazing options! I chose the salmon croquettes with eggs and potatoes. There were pickled onions on the croquettes, which I love. It was VERY good. I scarfed down every morsel. The Bloody Mary was excellent! It has a shrimp, Turkey bacon, tomatoes, and an entire dill pickle spear. That's what I'm talking about! I adore a Bloody Mary that is basically an appetizer. The service was great! It's a really lovely place. We sat in the Rich Life Room. I think it might be a menu with additional selections. We had such a beautiful booth with tall, dark green velvet seats. So inviting! I want to go back and try other things!

★ 1We had reservations so we were seated pretty urgently.
We were taken to our seats where it was very crowded and cramped so much that we were bumping into guest getting to our seat.
We were seated then ordered drinks and appetizers with our waiternwhich didn’t take long to come out.
After drinks and appetizers we put our food order in and we waited a long time to get our food but figured bc of how busy and wanting fresh food that waiting wasn’t a problem and the food will be worth the wait so we were cool about it no problem. WRONG !!!!
The food was salty and tasted like it was just reheated and served to us. Not too mention I had on a hair scarf that could’ve been for religious purposes & was told to take it offnWhen ppl had hats on. Both skully hats and fitted capsnWaiter had an attitudenEven went back and fourth about what we ordered and what she brought to the tablenThe tip is deducted automatically so maybe that’s why why she behaved like thatnLike she didn’t care bc either way she was getting a tipnIf you're hungry don’t waste your time coming herenThe steak here is only made one way well done whennEveryone knows steak should be mediumnI was in town for the onemusic fest & everyone recommended this placenTrust me you ain’t missing anything by not coming !!
