★ 5Truly spectacular spot for breakfast and coffee. The atmosphere, staff, and biscuits are tied for my favorite things. The food is delicious and the ingredients are high quality. The atmosphere is warm and eclectic with interesting art to enjoy.
The system for service is not intuitive for a first time customer. However the staff is really kind and explained everything. The self-serve coffee was mostly out when I went to get some. They had two kinds and the one I wanted ran out so I mixed it with another. When I came back a little later, both urns were out. Another customer was already saying something so I didn’t see the need to.
Overall, Dottie’s is amazing and I highly recommend it. I would recommend going on the early side, as they get busy and be kind to the staff on busy days. They clearly work hard and are good to their customers. -

★ 2Unfortunately, my experience at Dottie’s didn’t go as smoothly as I had hoped. It seems the restaurant may be struggling with being understaffed, both in terms of waiters and cooks. The lines to order a simple cafe drink were quite long, and it took over an hour for our food to arrive, despite only ordering simple sandwiches and egg brunch plates. Other customers walked out frustrated because staff were taking too long to get to them with anything’nnThere was also an issue with the billing, as the charges didn’t match what we saw on the menu. After some back-and-forth, they did adjust the price to reflect the correct amount, but it was a bit frustrating.
The food itself was decent, though nothing extraordinary. While Dottie’s appears to be the go-to place in downtown, they definitely need to improve their service to meet the expectations of the crowd they’re drawing in. It’s clear there’s potential, but right now, there are a few operational kinks to work out. -

★ 5A coffee lounge with a vibe. In the heart of Pittsfield, MA is a vibing coffee lounge. Dottie's offers an inviting atmosphere with great food and coffee. The lounge has 3 rooms for seating. Upon arrival you pick your table with the number, grab a menu and order at the cashier where you will inform them of your table number and place your order. The first room offers some elevated window seating for some natural bright light and people watching. The second room has plenty of seats and typically where the performers play on the mini stage. The third room has more seating, bar seating, and bathrooms. Each room has its own unique design with art. The first room has the gift shop. They also have a large patio for outdoor seating and in some of that fresh mountain airnnThe service in Dottie's is great. How it works is you pick a table and locate the number on the table, go to the cashier to tell them your table number and place your order for food and drinks (including coffee), the staff will deliver your items to the table. Everyone is so kind and helpful. I especially enjoyed Zuko. Zuko was helpful, consistently checking on the guest and ensuring everyone got their meal in a timely manner. Zuko is a great asset to Dotties.
I've been to this location several times and my favorite food is the steel cut oats with a variety of toppings that include fresh fruit and nuts . I also enjoy the Burnham bagel it's an everything bagel with cream cheese, ripe tomatoes and red raw onions, perfection! I will also typically get a lavender latte or a Matcha latte with lavender.
I'll definitely be back to enjoy some of their tasty menu items. Enjoy the ambience and hopefully get to see the radiant Zuko. Cheers 🥂 -

★ 3man , this was a terrible choice today . I ordered 2 sides of bacon and a lox bagel . Neither was satisfying . Dotties has really gone down hill from this experience anyways . I hate give a bad review . But gotta be real with you guys so you can fix it . For starters the bacon , was not the usual thick cut bacon perfectly crispy air fried bacon I've enjoyed here in the past . Instead it was extremely thin bacon strips and were the equivilant of that pre cooked bacon you can microwave for 30 seconds . I would of never ordered bacon knowing that you guys cheaped out and are using this terrible quality bacon . Not what I expected from Dotties . The lox bagel seamed pretty bullet proof to get wrong but you guys made sure you messed that up too . Instead of my normal Lox bagel instead I got a smoked salmon bagel with pesto more crappy quality bacon and avocado ... I usually love both bacon and avocado . I still tried it and had to toss it in the garbage . Like why can't I have my normal lox bagel and normal thick cut bacon ??!! This was 22 dollars down the drain and I tipped . I would never have tipped had I known my order was so badly messed up . Terrible quality breakfast . On top of that monique who took my order asked if I wanted Sourdough bagel . After I insisted no . She repeated my order back to me and asked again if I want it on a sourdough bagel right after I emphasized that I do not like Sourdough . Just bad service this time , bad food wrong sandwich totally wrong . I used to love coming here . Its been a while which is probably why this was so disappointing . I will never return here again .

★ 5The food was amazing. I ordered a Hot chocolate, Large Soup, and a Burnham Bagel 🥯.
The place is nice. And it has nothing to do compared with regular coffee shop in New York City or Jersey.
