★ 5A great stop for a quick lunch off the grill or a good sub. Came here after going to the beach and the food was great. Loved the pasta bar and the menu was very reasonable. Even though they forgot my order, they made up for it immediately and the garlic bread was good with the chicken parm.

★ 5Randomly ended up eating lunch here with my wife before our whale watching cruise. I literally pulled into the parking lot to get off the street so we could find a place to eat. After looking at reviews and their menu online, we decided this was a good place. The staff was so nice, and the options all sounded good. I ordered the sausage and sweet peppers, and my wife ordered the meatball sub. Since we dined in, we got a free cup of their soup of the day, and a trip to their salad bar. The soup that day was a chicken chili and it was excellent! We liked that more than either of us liked our sandwiches! We even considered coming back for dinner! The salad bar was a tiny cold well with rotini pasta salad, coleslaw, macaroni salad and potato salad. Not a salad bar in a traditional sense, but very nice treat just for dining in. My wife really enjoyed her meatball sub, and she had them add some fresh toppings from their sandwich topping options. My sandwich was good - plenty of sausage and peppers - but that was it. No onions, no sauce of any kind. I think I was also allowed to ask for free sandwich toppings, but I missed my chance.
Overall we paid $24 for two nice sized sandwiches, two bowls of chicken chili, two trips to the salad bar, a bottle of coke. Outstanding value, and we were both full when we left. Great experience here! -

★ 5The best sub shop we've been in! Great service and dine in includes a small variety of great tasting salads. The sandwiches were superb and the portion size huge. They offered us a complimentary cup of soup.
This place is top drawer! -

★ 4This is a great place to grab a quick bite. There are many sandwich choices here. We enjoyed our pepper steak subs and the free Portuguese soup that was offered. You order and pay at the counter and pick up your food to bring to your table. The restaurant is very clean and the service is very friendly. Recommended!!!

★ 5Destino's is the best sub shop in the city and I would go so far as to say one of the best in eastern Massachusetts. I no longer live in this area. But when I am in town this place is a must visit.
They started as a family owned restaurant in 1959. The place was sold in the past couple of years. It should be noted that all important aspects of the business are maintained to the high standards this shop always had. The transition appeared to be smooth and effortless.
The subs are far and away some of the best I have ever had. So good in fact, that I usually order a Steak Bomb or Veal Parm to go for the next day. They have free macaroni salad, potato salad, and cole slaw made fresh daily for dine in customers.
The service staff are great. Some of the same staff that were here before the transition still work here today. This is a credit to whoever is in charge. Continuity is key and they have it here.
The restaurant is clean and spotless. The decor is an ocean seafaring theme. There are plenty of tablesnnI personally have been a customer of Destino's for over 30 years now. Do not miss out on this place, your taste buds will never forgive you!!!
