★ 1**1/5 stars**nnAvoid Daisy’s Diner in Brooklyn at all costs. The service was absolutely horrible—waited over 45 minutes just to place an order, and another 30 for cold food to finally arrive. The booths are ridiculously small; I’m average-sized and could barely squeeze in without bumping elbows with strangers.
The food was a total letdown. Ordered a gyro wrap and specifically asked for feta inside—they brought it on the side in a sad little cup, completely ruining the dish. Tasted bland and greasy anyway. To top it off, the ceiling started leaking right over my table—water dripping straight onto my plate mid-meal. Health hazard much?
Most alarming: the fire exit was completely blocked by stacked boxes and equipment. If a fire broke out, there’s no way anyone’s getting out safely. This place is a disaster waiting to happen. Management clearly doesn’t care. Never again.
They also charged 6 dollars for the tzatziki sauce that CAME with my meal.
Please look at my pictures for reference.
I see how they respond to these reviews. I hope the respond to me because this service was HORRIBLE -

★ 5New ownership has done wonders on this place it’s clean atmosphere, such fun vibes, the staff and service is top notch! Great job with recovering a local hangout! Now the food, EPIC is all I have to say! Clean, fresh, filling, great portions! Highly recommend this local legacy joint!

★ 2I really wanted to ignore it, but I have to deduct a lot of stars for them messing up my order- TWICE! My partner and I have been here before and had such a great experience- both with food and service. I ordered the chopped sirloin steak with string beans and our server, Alex came back with spinach. It was eventually corrected with a giant plate of boiled frozen green beans and it was really underwhelming. I also ordered the Chef's salad with grilled chicken added on for take-out. I didn't get the ham, roast beef, turkey, or Swiss cheese in it. Instead I got an egg, onions, peppers and olives. The salad I got doesn't even fit any of the descriptions on the menu and Alex failed to give me a headsup about the chef maybe not having the ingredients. I also got the fruit and yogurt parfait... which is was okay. We will be back because it is so close to us, but we really hope the restaurant takes this review seriously and improve communication between the kitchen and server and train their servers better.

★ 5I recently checked out this restaurant with my family and was impressed by how kid-friendly it was. The staff were super accommodating and made sure our little ones felt welcome. The food was delicious and fresh, and the prices were reasonable too. Plus, they've recently updated their furniture and decor, which looks great - and I heard it's the works of the new owner who's really invested in making the place shine! And let me tell you, their portions are huge! We left feeling st■ and satisfied. This spot has quickly become our go-to for weekend brunch - we love bringing the kids here and enjoying a relaxing meal together. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this spot for families or anyone looking for a tasty meal without breaking the bank.

★ 2Terrible food where almost everything seemed like it was frozen and just heated and thrown together. A lot of it looked unappetizing. The fries and corned beef hash were the only good things but almost everything was too salty. The things that were probably made fresh or on-site were disappointing. The shakes were too frothy and could have been thicker. They also had an off taste to them. The tzaziki tasted like it was just some sour greek yogurt with a few chucks of cucumber. Service was not good. For there being no more than 3 tables, including ours, at any given time of our meal, I had to flag ther server down (which was hard when she practically never looked toward our table) or get up and walk over to ask for what I wanted. Certain items not available except during morning time even though the menu didn't specify that. High prices too. I spend over $100 for 2 people. There was an issue which the order and they took $5 off.
I understand why none of the locals went there after the event.
