★ 4There is a nice selection of freshly baked breads. There is a good selection of items in their menu. I got their French toast bagel toasted with cream cheese. The bagel was light, not your traditional bagel. But it was wonderful, crispy on the outside followed by a layer of French toast spices, then soft in the inside, and creamy with the cream cheese. Very good! I also ordered the cinnamon bun: it was not to my taste. I prefer mine soft and gooey with cinnamon, sugar, and butter. This cinnamon bun was crispy and the icing was dry and flaky. My friend got the Mulberry Street sandwich on ciabbatta bread. This place definitely knows how to bake breads! The chicken was tender- what a relief - so many places overcook chicken to be dry and taseteless. The coffees were good, nothing to rave or complain about. Overall, it's a very good place for breakfast and sandwiches. If you're looking to dine in, there are some stools inside, and in the summer there are a couple of small tables outside.

★ 5This afternoon I was craving a black and white cookie snd when I walked into the Brooklyn Bread Cafe to my delight, they had both large and small cookies! I ate one and it was so delicious, I had to buy one to take home! A few weeks ago, there was an article about the most delicious black and white cookies and I feel that we have to promote the Brooklyn Bread Cafe’s Black & White cookies as the most delicious in New York City!

★ 5The “to-go deluxe” Lox on bagel is everything! Their bagels/breads are always super fresh. Yesterday before work I was even able to relax and have my bites in their cute patio area.
This place definitely has some of the best bagel sandwiches I’ve ever tasted in Brooklyn -

★ 5There are a million different places to get a sandwich in this neighborhood, but I’d highly recommend this spot. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the Italian sub was delicious. It was a very nice touch that they put the lettuce, tomato and onion on the top side of the bread, and then put the sauces on this side of the bread as well, before combining the sandwich. With the meat on the bottom, the sandwich didn’t get soggy at all.
