  Chico's Tacos & Bar was one of the biggest surprises I've found in Montpelier. For a relatively small Vermont city, Montpelier has a surprisingly diverse food scene, and Chico's is a great example of that !!
  
  The first thing that stood out to me was how authentic and welcoming the restaurant felt. The atmosphere is lively without feeling overwhelming, the staff is incredibly friendly, and it's clear that a lot of care goes into creating a genuinely enjoyable dining experience. The fact that the staff is bilingual adds to the welcoming environment and makes the restaurant feel even more connected to its roots.
  
  The food is fantastic. The tacos are generously portioned, flavorful, and consistently satisfying. The chips and queso are a must-order, and the cocktails are equally impressive. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared without being overly complicated.
  
  I've brought several friends here, and it's become a place I find myself recommending over and over again. Even friends of Mexican descent who have joined me have enjoyed the food and atmosphere, which says a lot.
  
  One thing I also love is the exterior of the restaurant. It stands out in the best way and adds so much character to the area. As one of the newer additions to Montpelier's restaurant scene, it has quickly become one of my favorites.

  Food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the Pork Belly Tacos!
  
  I had 3 Tacos, the Fish, Pork Belly and chicken. All 3 were excellent and very flavorful. You can tell that everything is made from scratch.
  
  The waitstaff were very friendly and knowledgeable.
  
  I plan to have lunch here again real soon!

  Had to try out the newest Mexican spot in Montpelier. Very relaxing vibe inside. Stopped in for an early dinner so it wasn't too busy yet. But the service was quick! Got chips and queso to start along with some margaritas. So good. The queso has a nice little kick to it. All the food was so good! Ordered tacos for our meal. Can't wait to try more of the menu!

  This gem was an awesome surprise as we walked by looking for a place to eat. The food was incredible. Homemade salsa and gauc, omg. The burritos were huge and amazing. I went with the carnitas burrito, and the pork was chard and delicious. Staff were so friendly and welcoming and our server was so sweet.

  I lived in California most my life, mad taco was my favorite an they are good, but this place really is as close as you can get in vermont to delicious real mexican, ive had there chicken, pork, and carne asada steak tacos along with chips an salsa, absolutely delicious an authentic. An a bit of taste of home for me which was what I missed most about California. The owner an the staff are nice, food is yummy honestly ill be back. An recommend fully, I need to try there burrito an more.
