I really don't want to write this review... because I want to keep this place all to myself and a friend. This is serious food, serious flavor and seriously good coffee. The empanadas are to die for... I dream about them at night. Just the right amount of crunch, not over-filled. Make sure to order enough because your table will fight over them.
I'm still working through the menu but the other day I had what is now (aside from the empanadas), my favorite breakfast dish - La Bomba. Pork roll, queso frito & ketchup mayo, fried egg on a homemade roll - I added avocado. Meals are quiet at our table when my friend and I eat at Mamjuana's, we don't want the food to get cold over banal conversation. The coffee is good, the juices delicious. I saw a flight of fruity mimosas heading to another table and for a moment regretted my decision to stop drinking alcohol.
No matter how busy the staff are, they always have a smile and time to explain the dishes. If you have a vegetarian in your life - make their day, take them here to this little corner of deliciousness. Just leave me some empanadas.

I ordered take out on a Saturday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the La Bandera. Jerk Wings, El Cubano and a couple desserts. Everything was very good, I do wish the El Cubano had more seasoning and a better bread. Overall Inenjoyed the food and recommend this place, I will be back.

I have lived in Vermont for 20 years, this is without a doubt the best breakfast I have ever had. The owners are amazing, they greet every person and take the time (when they have it) to talk to you. They open at 10am and we arrived at 10:09 with the restaurant already half full. By 11am there were a few parties waiting, but trust me, it is worth the wait! Get ready for your taste buds to take a delicious ride!!

I decided to try Café Mamajuana and started with their refreshing passionfruit juice while looking over the menu. I eventually went with the Bandera featuring pulled chicken and pickled red onions, along with a side of plantain fries.

The meal was outstanding. The pulled chicken was unbelievably tender and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the rice, beans, and the salty crunch of the chip. Every bite was a delight—it was honestly the best chicken I’ve had in a long time. The plantain fries added a unique and satisfying touch to the meal.

This café is fantastic. The newer location has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with plenty of parking and seating available. If you haven’t been yet, you need to give it a try—you won’t regret it. The staff were so kind and i loved the seating and plants! The baked goods were also amazing!!

This place brings it. Such an original menu that all looked so good. Dominican inspired options like a Benedict with plantains , brisket, and fresh made salsa.

The doughnuts were unbelievable, we got the pistachio coconut but would have been thrilled at every kind !

Great atmosphere, staff, and we got our food in less than 15min.

    Top notch spot
