  We went early Sunday morning for breakfast. There was no line so we were seated right away. Parking was not a problem. The servers were attentive and the service was fast. The place is clean. The food was warm, delicious, and the serving size was big. Price is reasonable. When we left there was a wait line outside. We would definitely go back here. Highly recommend.

  This place is a phenomenal spot. The food was delicious, the chicken Chilaquiles I strongly recommend and they had a delicious flight of mimosas as well. Staff is great and they take care of their customers as well. I dined outside which was nice but the only gripe I must add is that there is a gate that the staff was using out there that kept slamming each time they went in and out. Other than that noise levels were kept at a dull roar and it was calming and peaceful there to enjoy your meal.

  The food here is amazing! Our waitress was so kind as well. I will come back everytime when I’m in San Diego. Very busy as well so I’d recommend getting there early.

  I’ve been coming to Broken Yolk Cafe in Eastlake at least once a week and it’s hands down my favorite weekend breakfast spot. I love being able to fully customize my omelette exactly how I like it, and everything always comes out fresh and delicious.
  
  The service is consistently friendly and welcoming you really feel taken care of from the moment you walk in. The vibe is relaxed, the portions are generous, and it’s the kind of place that makes your morning better.
  
  If you’re looking for a reliable, tasty breakfast with great people, this is the spot. Highly recommend.

  We’ve been coming to Broken Yolk for over a decade now and it’s my kids number one choice when they get to choose a place to eat as a reward. I’ve tasted a wide variety of dishes over the years and they’ve all been delicious. Service has always been top notch, the servers make you (and the kids) feel like family. We’ve had Mr. Fernando many times and he’s the absolute best server—so warm, friendly, and funny. This is a well-known big chain restaurant, but this Eastlake location feels like a mom and pop local diner with how the atmosphere is. It’s also always clean, restrooms included. Consistent quality of food and service. Highly recommend.
