★ 5Timothy was a month in to his season but you would never know! He provided impeccable service with his winning personality. For example he noticed my knife had water spots and quietly whisked it away and replaced it without me even having to mention it. The service was spot on from there. The food was delicious, the resturant well appointed, and the views a bonus. Taylor made the best old fashions we've had all week. The hostess was a dear as well. Cannot wait to be back! Thank you for a great evening!

★ 5A Culinary Gem That Outshines Even the View – Bettini at Harbor View HotelnBettini at the Harbor View Hotel is one of those rare places where the food, service, and setting harmonize so perfectly that you almost forget which one impressed you first. Yes, the view of Edgartown Harbor is breathtaking — the kind that glows in the golden light of Martha’s Vineyard — but here, it’s the food that truly steals the show.
Under the remarkable leadership of Executive Chef Juan Martinez and Sous Chef Momo Camara, every plate is crafted with soul and precision. The scallop crudo was a masterpiece of restraint — impossibly fresh, delicate, kissed with just the right acidity to let the sea speak for itself. The lobster bucatini came next, beautifully balanced with a subtle kick that added warmth without overwhelming the sweet richness of the lobster. And then, the beef carpaccio — paper-thin, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and bursting with flavor in every bite.
Service was flawless from start to finish. Our bartender Taylor made the most beautiful hot cocoa for my daughter — just the right temperature, velvety, and not too hot — proof of the team’s thoughtful attention to detail. Andrei, our server, was both attentive and genuinely funny, effortlessly remembering each of my kids’ names after our very first dinner. That kind of personal touch transforms a meal into a memory.
Bettini isn’t just a hotel restaurant — it’s a culinary destination in its own right. Whether you come for the harbor views, the impeccable service, or the artistry on your plate, you’ll leave knowing you’ve just experienced something special. -

★ 5If you are looking for a restaurant on Martha's Vineyard to bring someone special to, look no further! Bettini at the Harbor View Hotel has got you covered! My wife and I just got married and are staying at the hotel. We had a reservation for 7pm, and the host immediately congratulated us and brought us to our table, then brought us two glasses of champagne.
The menus they gave us were personally made to wish us a happy honeymoon, and Carmen (our waitress) was so attentive to our needs. She made great suggestions for food, and she ensured that our waters were always full. Carmen was so easy to talk to as well. She asked where we were from, where we got married, and how we are enjoying our stay.
The food was out of this world. The prime beef carrpacio was excellent, and our meals (rigatoni bolognese and half chicken) were to die for. I don't know if I've ever had a better chicken.
Finally, to make it extra special, Carmen brought out dessert menus and said whatever we ordered was on the house! We got the chocolate torte and a scoop of coffee ice cream. Both were so rich and delicious, a wonderful end to our honeymoon dinner.
You need to make your way to Bettini immediately! It is worth every penny! -

★ 5While Bettini is renowned for its beautiful view overlooking the iconic Edgartown Lighthouse, it was the details that made our experience distinctive. From the moment that we walked in, we were greeted with smiling faces, warmth, and effortless hospitality, setting the tone for an exceptional evening. After we were seated, our waiter Taylor came over, and we were delighted by how kind and sweet he was, while still holding himself professionally. Taylor remembered our order with ease and remarkable precision. The food was served with fresh ingredients, and it was artfully plated, demonstrating both culinary excellence and care. It is rare to find service that is both polished and sincere. While the pink sunset over the harbor provided a relaxing backdrop, it was the restaurant's details that made our experience spectacular.
