  Food is amazing - American fare, apps etc. Beer and wine. Amazing vibe. Laid back local bar, great music. Owner is a great guy. Yard is comfy with its own bar in season and small igloos with ambient fire place to heat. So cozy in the winter! Great date night or just to relax and have good food and drink. I love this place!! You should really get here!

  This place is awesome family owned and operated.. when you're there you feel like you're home.. my old man had just passed away and I was flipping through his record collection.. and Nathan the owner put on an old Billy Joel album brought me back to my childhood what a nostalgic feeling..
  
  We had an egg sandwich and not just any egg sandwich a french toast brioche roll grilled to perfection with Real Easter ham.. and served with real maple syrup.. I guess they do a fried chicken dinner on Sunday night I have not tried it yet but I plan on it..
  
  This place is exactly like it sounds the backyard..
  
  The property is beautiful lots of things to entertain kids..
  
  I'll definitely be going down there this summer and sitting in the backyard and enjoying an awesome burger or meal cooked by this fantastic family..

  We enjoyed our first of many visits to Backyard! The owner was very accommodating to us before and during our visit. The food was awesome! We went for Sunday brunch and had the burrito, breakfast tacos, and hash browns. All were very good. He gave us a cookie for the road and it was most certainly the most delicious chocolate chip cookie we ever tasted. We can’t wait to come back when we are camping in Westport this summer!

  This is a very unique and fun place to eat, with a nice, casual atmosphere and great outdoor seating. But perhaps the best is part is the awesome food, it exceeded our expectations. I had lunch here for the first time the other day and the burger was quite honestly the best I had in a long time. Seriously. The Pickle Plate was fantastic as well.

  This is one of my favorite places to visit in town. The Got Pickles burger is absolutely delicious. At times the service can be slow due to it being a scratch kitchen, however, it is absolutely worth the wait. Service has always been top notch as well. I love that it’s dog friendly as well!
