The best breakfast diner in Maine as far as I'm concerned! It's a homely and small place that fills up quickly but the staff are top notch. The food is served quickly, fresh and hot and for prices that I haven't seen since the 1970s! No corners were cut and no shortcuts in preparing the food. I had three blueberry pancakes and a fried egg ($9) and my daughter has strawberry pancakes ($7) and supreme breakfast burritos ($10, with eggs, ham, bacon, cheese and sausage)! No credit cards are not a problem for me as I usually pay with cash and I didn't have to use much cash at all! A customer next to me ordered the 1/2 pound hamburger plate. I swear it stood six inches tall and included lots of lettuce and tomato with fries and coleslaw. All for $12! Red Robin eat your heart out! Service was fast and friendly. The parking lot is small and you come in from the street in downtown Augusta and go out through the alley. I would drive miles out of my way to eat one of their breakfasts (or lunch) again!

What a great local institution! Everything was homemade, fresh and terrific. I had two pancakes, eggs over easy and bacon, and Joseph had scrambled eggs, wheat toast, hash browns and corned beef hash.

We were there on a Wednesday morning at around 10am, and we were seated immediately.

It can be a little chaotic when it's busy but the staff does an amazing job navigating the flow. Food was good and portions are hardy.

Stopped for breakfast and got the meatlovers omelet. Absolutely 10/10 the best omelet I've ever had in my life. Very quick and great service. Biscuits and gravy and the French toast is also fantastic. Highly reccomend stopping to eat here!

Fell in love with our waitress. She was amazing! She even let me taste the gravy for biscuits and gravy because it was not southern gravy lol. She treated my husband and I like she has known us all of our lives.
Food was good and we left full!
