★ 5Another Broken Egg Cafe in Flowood, Mississippi is everything a great breakfast and brunch spot should be, and then some. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm Southern hospitality, a relaxed upscale atmosphere, and the unmistakable feeling that this place was built on quality and care.
The menu is outstanding. Every dish feels thoughtfully crafted, from rich, flavorful omelets and perfectly seasoned grits to indulgent brunch favorites and chef-inspired specialties. Ingredients taste fresh, portions are generous without being overdone, and presentation is consistently on point. Whether you’re in the mood for something classic or a little adventurous, there’s something here that hits the mark.
What makes this location even more special is the history behind the brand. Another Broken Egg Cafe began its journey in 1996 as The Broken Egg Cafe in Old Mandeville, Louisiana, founded by Ron Green. That original French country-style café focused on elevating breakfast and brunch with a Southern, chef-driven approach. In 1998, the second location opened in Destin, Florida under the name “Another Broken Egg,” officially establishing the brand we know today. That commitment to quality, creativity, and Southern flavor is still very much alive, and you can taste it in every bite at the Flowood café.
The service here truly elevates the experience. My server, Monae, was polite, extremely knowledgeable, and absolutely worth a five-star rating of her own. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ When I mentioned it was my first visit, she paid attention, took mental notes, and later surprised me by bringing beignets to the table, thanking me for stopping by. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and speaks volumes about the culture at this location.
Whether you’re a local regular or visiting for the first time, you’re treated like family. Another Broken Egg Cafe in Flowood isn’t just a place to eat, it’s a continuation of a Southern tradition that started in Louisiana and has been perfected over the years. If you’re looking for an exceptional breakfast or brunch with heart, history, and incredible flavor, this place is an absolute must. -

★ 5Our server Grace was the absolute best! All our food came out for the most part at the same time, everything was fresh and hot…did not at all seem like it had been sitting in the window. She made sure to check on us consistently and get refills. The manager did come around often to do table touches. 10/10 experience❤️

★ 1It was about a 50 minute wait for a table, then another 45 to wait for the food to be served. The food was cold when we got it. The avocado on top of the omelette was brown. There was so much cheese, and it was congealed. The grits were not edible. They were burnt. There was somehow a chunk of wood in my omelette. The only good part was the waitress was nice. We will never go back here.

★ 4We have visited this sight multiple times and it has never disappointed us, until today. We were the first customers of the day and only 1 other person during our visit. Our order of bignets was a little overcooked but still good. Our breakfast took an additional 30 minutes to arrive. Both my wife's and my eggs were very oily and slightly undercooked. With all of that said, my opinion is, I would still visit again. We have been to this location and many others, this was the worst visit and it was still good. Just a little slow and not to the same standard as the rest. We will be back.
