★ 5Now this is what a diner restaurant should be! We came all the way from Portland, OR and noticed the sign then had to try it. All of us had very happy bellies on the way out! Portions were generous. The original furniture and retro decorations made us feel like we were on the set of Happy Days. If you remember that show you will love it here! Plus the staff was awesome. We will definitely return the next time we are in town!

★ 5I recently visited Howley’s Restaurant on S Dixie Hwy in West Palm Beach, and it was a pleasant, casual experience. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff was friendly and attentive.
I tried one of their classic breakfast dishes, and it was fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying. The portions were generous, and the food had a comforting, homemade feel. It was easy to enjoy the meal at a relaxed pace.
Overall, Howley’s is a solid spot for a simple, hearty breakfast or lunch. I’d definitely return next time I’m in the area. -

★ 4I’m glad to be back my second time trying other menu items at Howley’s. It was a busy afternoon lunch shift on Saturday. I have to give some kudos to our waitress who was juggling a full restaurant being double sat and in the weeds, her team came and helped her by taking our order and she came back to check on us. Service was fantastic 5/5.
My husband and I both got the fish and chips. The cod batter was flavorless & fish was dry. But we enjoyed the sweet potato fries. His bowl of matzoh ball soup was by far the BEST we’ve ever had in palm beach county! And we’ve tried a few. Overall, I would say I would come back again and maybe try something else on their menu not the fish and chips. Food 3.5/5 -

★ 5Had breakfast Saturday morning right after they opened. There was no wait and we were seated right away. Howleys has a retro diner anesthetic which takes you back. The service is friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. We ordered the country fried steak with sausage gravy and a side of home fries. The steak was well seasoned and tender, home fries were crispy. We also ordered the southern eggs Benedict which was slow cooked pulled pork over sweet cornbread with perfectly poached eggs. I will definitely be back.

★ 5This place has been there since 1950. The food is fresh, I had shrimp quesadillas for tje appetitezer and the main course the TV dinner and it was awesome. Home made mash potatoes, chicken in a wonderful sauce, peas, and a chocolate brownie. Elisa was our waitress and she was great. Have to return to this gem.
