★ 5Lovely and historic Victorian B&B run by local owners (Heather & Jarret) located in downtown Woodstock, VT. As a bonus, they also run an outstanding restaurant (The Vic Tavern) just downstairs. The Village Inn of Woodstock offers a personal touch with wood burning fireplaces in select rooms. Cannot recommend this charming inn highly enough! Shout out to Ansley, Charlotte, and Nikki!

★ 5We loved the Village Inn in Woodstock. Great place to experience the magical town of Woodstock especially during the Wassail Weekend. I wanted to have a Hallmark Christmas Moment and this visit definitely fit the bill! Heather and her wonderful staff treated us like family (or maybe even a bit better!! ) They made our joint birthday celebrations so special. The breakfasts were wonderful. The room was great with all its personal touches. If we needed anything all we had to do was ask. Everyone who stayed there were fun and easy to visit with over breakfast or drinks in the afternoon by the fire place. We ate dinner at Vic's Tavern the first night and it was amazing! We dined at a few other places based on Heather's recommendations and they were wonderful. I am so glad she reminded me a few weeks prior to our visit to make reservations since it was a busy weekend for the quaint town. Definitely recommend the Village Inn in Woodstock and Vic's Tavern to anyone looking for something special in Woodstock.

★ 5I stayed at the Village Inn of Woodstock for my daughter's wedding weekend and the experience was like staying with favorite friends. Heather and her team were lovely, making sure that I had the best experience possible. The home is gorgeous, the rooms and shared spaces beautifully appointed, the location central and walkable, and the food! Oh my, the food - exceptional. I will definitely return here again.

★ 5We had a lovely stay at the Inn for 2 nights. What a beautiful place! From the period wallpaper and lighting to the art work on the walls you feel as though you’ve stepped back in time.
Heather greeted us on arrival and within a few minutes we felt as if we were visiting a dear friend. She gave us suggestions for places to see in town along with a detailed map. Our room (#2) was so comfortable and we enjoyed the attached sitting room and balcony.
We ate at the Vic Tavern downstairs the first evening and enjoyed cocktails at the quaint and cozy bar. Dinner was delicious.
Breakfast is included and was a wonderful way to start the day. We had fresh orange juice served in champagne flutes, coffee, omelets and bacon the first morning and Belgian waffles with blueberries and fresh whipped cream the next day. I can’t say enough about the delicious food and service. Calming music is played throughout the downstairs which adds to the comfortable experience of your stay.
We didn’t want to leave and wished we could have stayed a little longer to see the inn decorated for Christmas. We’ll definitely be back again.
