  After a wonderful dinner at Braxton's, the Algonquin's breakfast buffet was disappointing. We had to wait to be seated despite plenty of cleared tables. (A manager stepped in and got things going.) Except for the made-to-order omelette station, food looked tired, and the selection was surprisingly limited (very little fresh fruit, for example). Service was very pleasant. We were lucky to be seated on the enclosed verandah with great views. Some folks were seated in one of Braxton's rooms.

  I was amazed at the quality of this breakfast buffet. Everything on offer was made perfectly and there was a wide variety. We loved every bite.
