  This restaurant has a great atmosphere but the service was lacking. On Victoria Day, we went to have breakfast, knowing it was a holiday and they would have special hours, we went and saw staff inside. We tried to open the door and it was locked. They looked at us and turn their backs to us and we stood there till it was obvious they were not moving. A courtesy close gesture or simply coming to the door to say they were closed or not ready to open yet would have been enough. We walked down the street and got breakfast elsewhere. On our last day we decided to give it another go and figured since it was a regular work day it would be open no question. We were able to sit right away. It took a bit for the young man to approach us so I went to the counter and asked for the best way to order he was friendly and provided the menus and we told her our coffee order. We returned to our place and he brought our coffees with no spoons to stir, we waited and the after another 5 minutes we asked again for a spoon. We placed our order while we had him. The food arrived in a good time and it was hot and fresh, my husband asked for sunny side and was given over easy, we asked for additional serving of mushroom and we were given a diced mushroom, it seems it was prepared for omelets and placed on my plate as an after thought. They forgot the bacon and we reminded them and they brought it out quickly. We had to go and ask for a refill and at that point we decided it was time to go.

  One of the best & most flavourful lunches I’ve ever had, the Rueben was absolutely delicious and the potatoes on the side were some of the best I’ve ever had. The mimosas had the perfect amount of OJ, would order this a million times over. 🤤 And incredible service & atmosphere!

  Extremely disappointed with my Drewhaven experience. We had been on the website looking at the posted menu before coming to St Andrews because one of my friends is gluten free. There were some lovely choices to pick from but the menu provided was more lunch time fare Blt's, Reuben, pasta etc. We were told by our waitress they had changed the menu 2 months ago clearly they have not updated the website. My friend had only 2 choices one the Salmon special which we both ordered. Strike 1 when checking in earlier in the day on the reservation made a couple weeks ago we were asked to come later because of a larger group they had, already we did not feel welcome. Strike 2 there were 5 in our party and all 5 meals were cold the salmon was so overcooked you had to break it apart and scoop it to eat, served with soggy green beans, a few very thinly sliced carrot discs that looked like they had been cooked hours ago and rice. Our only mistake was not asking the price of the salmon special assuming it would be approx the same price as the highest item on the menu at $32.00 a price I had pd for a lovely salmon dinner in Moncton last Wed evening. Strike 3, I was speechless when my bill arrived to see it was $50.00 for a piece of fish I would have been embarrassed to serve to my own company at home. We were offered a very limited selection of dessert on the house to compensate but were informed that carrot cake wasn't one of them because said large group had taken the whole thing we declined so our bills were reduced by 10%. I really feel like we were not a priority we were seated in the cafe side and they even closed off the door between us and the main dining room. It was so cold I could not take off my shawl. My friends were celebrating their anniversary and this was not the experience we had expected. I will not be recommending this restaurant to friends and will not be returning in the future.

  This was our first time visiting the Drewhaven. We went for breakfast on Christmas Eve and were very pleasantly surprised at how delicious the meal was, and how incredibly affordable this was! We are big breakfast people and have frequented many establishments, but the pricing for breakfast here was very reasonable, and the service was top notch! Our server was very attentive and for once, we couldn't keep up with the coffee refills!! Even our 10 year old son enjoyed his visit and breakfast!
  We will be back to try Dinner!! 🍽

  We found this place after being turned away from a local cafe that didn't have gluten free options for sandwiches. I was immediately greeted and they whipped up a delicious breakfast for me. Service 10/10 and this place is so cute. Thank you!
