  Cute, peaceful coffee shop with delicious lox and dill cream cheese bagels. Their apple fritters are also ridiculously good. A selection of gifts, pastries, and beverages, as well as a small savory breakfast menu. Well worth the drive to Lubec.

  Stopped in for breakfast and got a breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, and cheese. I also got a hot chocolate with vanilla. These were both great. My boyfriend got a coffee and he enjoyed it. Staff was very friendly. They also have some items for sale like books, ornaments, prints, and more. We bought an ornament to bring home. Nice spot to grab a quick breakfast in town.

  This is one of our most favorite spots, ever. The most well crafted, soul soothing chai I’ve ever had. The people are warm, the atmosphere is inviting, the view is stunning. If we are having a not so great day, we always say, “I just want to be in Lubec, relaxing at the Narrow Escape”. Thank you for creating such a magical space. 🫶🏼

  A very small place hidden on Water Street yet is has very good coffee and other beverages, baked goods and well-made sandwiches. I stopped there on my way to Reversing Falls and ordered a cappuccino and a breakfast sandwich. Both we very good. It was almost empty when I got there but it soon began to fill up. It's a bit tight inside so I'm certain they do significant take out. It was a good introduction to Lubec with a pleasant view of the Narrows and Cambobello Island, which is almost a stones throw away!

  Amazing gem in Lubec. Friendly staff, charming atmosphere, and amazing coffee. They have a limited supply of amazing pastries so you’d best come before they are gone!
