  The four stars is in part to the wonderful views of the water you can enjoy while dining. The limited menu does offer some tasty food. I enjoyed the chicken salad which was nicely prepared and fresh tasting. My bun however was stale perhaps because it was late. Staff seemed to be wearing many hats but were pleasant.

  Very good sandwiches. We ordered ours to take away and had a lovely picnic lunch at one of the many observation points on the island. The chicken pesto panini was tasty with a generous serving of chicken. The egg salad sandwich was large and well prepared. Not a bad value, so worth getting food here.

  Great historical location, staff all A1 and the food I rarely use the term the best, yet for the apple cider vinaigrette dressed seasonal green salad this is the best. The clam chowder was among the best. When I ordered the chowder I was told it might be finished. I asked if the pot could be scraped I was brought a bowl of delicous thick chowder. Among my best chowders.

  This is the time to truly sit back and relax. There is no rush. Even the wait staff promote this. Enjoy the food and view.

  Ate here for lunch! Service was excellent with great specials and a fantastic tomato bisque soup. Food was excellent and we enjoyed our time.
