We had to wait at the door a little over 5 minutes to be sitted. It took over 45 minutes after ordering to get our food. The food wasn't bad. The service sucked. Never checked on. Had to sip my drink knowing that I wouldn't get a refill. Don't go here on your lunch break if you only have an hour. Ridiculous. They had no care in the world.

I was excited to try Point Break for my brother’s birthday. Most people’s food came out okay. My grandmother and brother ordered the Hawaiian chicken sandwich, I got the Hang Ten Club, and my grandfather ordered the Johnny Utah. The waitress assumed my grandfather didn’t want cheese because he didn’t explicitly say “with cheese.” My mother ordered the tuna dinner.

I enjoyed my sandwich, and the sandwiches overall were decent. Unfortunately, that didn’t make up for the rest of the experience.

My mother asked for her tuna medium rare, but it came out very rare and had a spongy texture. Her sweet potato fries were not hot, and some weren’t fully cooked. She asked for the tuna to be remade, and the waitress said it would be. When it came back, it was darker on the outside but still raw, bright pink inside, and still spongy, as shown in the photo. In fact it seemed as if they had just microwaved the same peice. The cook also seemed visibly annoyed.

The onion rings are advertised as beer battered they didn't taste like it. They said the sandwichs were on Texas toast as well but they weren't.

We also asked for more napkins, which they said they would bring, but they never did. The restaurant was extremely loud, which made the experience even less enjoyable.

Overall, while the sandwiches were mostly fine, the poor service and the mishandled raw fish completely overshadowed the meal. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re ordering anything other than a basic sandwich, especially considering the raw tuna dish cost $21.

First time here. The vibe was great. The place was very clean ! The staff did a great job providing good service. The food was good but lacked seasoning. The drinks were on point. Give it a try!

My husband and I visited Point Break Cafe pretty regularlynWe enjoyed the vibe. The waitresses are always attentive and kind. The food was always delicious. We went there yesterday and were very disappointed. The food was not good. The onion rings were soggy and the southwest egg rolls were completely different than our last visit. Even the wing sauce was off. I asked the waitress if they were using a different distributor for their inventory and she stated they were under new ownership. I know there are always growing pains when someone takes over and I am hopeful the new owner will realize his mistake and go back to the old supplier. This food was sub par and the increased price tag with lower quality food is not a recipe for longevity.

Today we tried Point Break Cafe for the first time and we LOVED it! We had Hannah as our waitress and she was so sweet and delivered the best service. Our entire meal was amazing especially the shrimp & grits! We will definitely be back here soon!
