★ 5Bolley’s Famous Franks in Hallowell, Maine is one of my favorite stops for classic comfort food. The hot dogs and fries are excellent, and you can’t go wrong with their housemade donuts, burgers, or onion rings. The food is always fresh, the portions are generous, and the staff keeps things friendly and fast. It’s the kind of casual local spot that makes Maine dining special. If you’re near 38 Water Street in Hallowell, ME, do yourself a favor and stop in—highly recommended!

★ 5After years of driving by this place, decided to try lunch here. VERY delicious food and friendly service. I've given up franchise fast food and I've been paying a bit more to try places like Bolley's. Will definitely come again!

★ 5Wicked good hotdogs! Probably one of the best I’ve ever had. Fries are also awesome! I’m not too big a fan of coleslaw usually, but this was done properly and was quite refreshing. I will be going back here quite often :)

★ 4Loved this for a quick lunch! The fries and chicken tenders were excellent - fresh and crispy. The hot dog wasn't anything spectacular but it's a good old-fashioned hot dog... Hits the spot. I also had a molasses donut which had amazing flavor but was saturated in oil. Not sure if that was a one-off thing but I will give it another try.

★ 5Bolley's happened to reopen on my birthday and we decided to give it a try, which we did not regret!
The staff were very friendly, handed us a menu right away and took the time to explain the different types of hotdogs that were available, even though there was a lot going on.
We went with the regular hotdogs and onion rings + sweet potato fries on the side. Everything was great, but in my opinion the onion ring batter was lacking some spice or seasoning to make it even better.
Unfortunately, all the donuts were already sold out for the day, so I will have to try that another time.
The dining area and restroom were very clean and there are a lot of parking spaces available.
Everything considered, Bolley's is definitely a place worth visiting.
