What a sweet little spot! The service was especially accommodating, and the baked goods are incredible. The breakfast was good. I asked for over medium eggs and they were hard. The bacon and the potatoes were close to burnt, but it was all servable and good enough to eat. We sat outside, and it was really nice weather 🌡️!! We lucked out in late September with 75° for breakfast around 10:30am.

The baked goods are incredible and I highly recommend them, along with their delicious coffee.

This place is very nice. We came at 1.55 pm and were still seated for lunch. Food was nice and freshly made. Also, everything was reasonably priced. We also got a pie from there which was delicious. Also place has its own parking which is a plus if you are driving there.

Have been coming to Mae’s for many years with my family. Always loved it. My sweet children decided to do something nice for me for Mother’s Day and take me out to my favorite place for breakfast. Guess what? They are only offering a buffet today. Not my favorite decision but I understand the need to try and manage a lot of business on a day like Mother’s Day. Unfortunately the food was basic and cold. The thing that REALLY blew my mind, however is that my 3 college-aged children who can’t even afford to buy themselves a new shirt were charged $200 for this meal!!!! How much do they think we are eating? 3 of us had one full plate and my son went back a second time only for fruit. ALSO, they auto charged them a $24 tip for the waitress who ONLY BROUGHT WATER! We served ourselves!! My blood is boiling and I will NEVER AGAIN return to this place. You guys really overplayed your cards on this one. Congratulations on a customer lost.

Mae’s is definitely a staple in the area! Conveniently located just off of RT.1 but far enough into town to give you the flavor of Bath, the restaurant also has all the charm of a historical building with the updates of modern comfort. The staff are all very friendly and happy to answer questions. Even on a busy day (we visited on Fathers Day), service was prompt. Once we placed our order, it took about 45 minutes to get our food, which is long, even for the holiday. It was all pretty tasty, but the home fires were all burnt and the pancakes were not super warm, so I am guessing that some cook forgot to make something. Overall, still very enjoyable, but not perfect on this trip.
