★ 4It’s Dennys – you know what you’re getting. The food is consistent and it’s open 24h. We arrived at 6:30pm in Lebanon NH and went to Denny’s because I was craving breakfast for dinner. It was semi full and we were seated immediately. The waiter was great and got us water immediately – while this is something that should happen immediately at all restaurants, it doesn’t happen more often than you’d think or like. We settled into our booth. I over ordered the Lumberjack Slam: 2 pancakes, grilled ham, 2 bacon strips, 2 sausage links, 2 eggs made to order, crispy hash browns and buttered white toast. The grilled ham was surprisingly good. By dinner, the hash browns were nice and crispy (they can be a little less crispy during the morning rush). The portions are always generous and there was no way I was finishing this but I ordered it anyway. The “two fluffy buttermilk pancakes” were a sleeper hit and my group collectively dug in to finish them – they are surprisingly fluffy and good. The Bourbon Chicken Skillet with grilled chicken breast served over potatoes, broccoli, bell peppers & onions and mushrooms – it was a solid choice and the bourbon sauce was not heavy or offensive. We enjoyed the Crazy Spicy Skillet with grilled chicken breast, chorizo sausage, bell peppers & onions, mushrooms, jalapenos, potatoes topped with cheddar cheese, spicy 5-pepper sauce and pepper jack queso. The only complaint we had was the onion rings – we ordered a side order and for $5.19 then received 5 rings (see photo) – these these basic frozen deep fried onion rings were not worth $1 apeice. Overall a happy and pleasant experience and we would go back but we won’t be order the onion rings again.

★ 4I love stopping here for a classic breakfast whenever I am on the road. The pancakes are always fluffy, and it is nice to have a spot that is open at all hours so I can get a warm meal whenever I need it. The servers are usually very kind and make the whole experience feel like a home-cooked meal, even if it is just a quick stop.

★ 3We were out doing errands in West Lebanon. It was lunchtime, we were hungry, but did not want to stop for a long or expensive meal. We picked Denny's. We were pleasantly surprised. We were seated right away. Water and menus came quickly. The menu was so extensive that We couldn't order when the waitress came by the first time. After getting through the menu, we were ready to order. Order went in, and water was refilled. We had a chance to discuss the rest of our plans in town, and our meal arrived piping hot. What a pleasant surprise , a fresh cooked meal at a bargain price! And a smiling, energetic waitress to boot!

★ 4Our first visit here. The service was good and we got our order fairly quickly. The hashbrowns are delicious as usual and the burger was also a winner. That being said, the chicken noodle soup was too salty to my taster. Also everything in my breakfast plate tasted like butter.
